June 16 Day 5 - Ok so here is the surpise for the kids .. I get up at 6:30, take shower and get ready - at 7:00 I wake kids and while Megan is getting dressed I call next door to be sure our friends are next door - they are good I say at 7:15 knock on the door in between the rooms ok .. so kyle is getting dressed when the knock comes .. I say go ahead Meg answer the door .. so then kyle comes out to see what is going on and they door opens and all 4 kids scream !!! YIPPEE Sucess .. so we all head down stairs Me, Megan, Kyle, Keri , Cameron, Carly , and Ruthie.. Keri and I check out and grab some food in the bakery .. we load all suitcases in the rental and I drive to the swan - they walk to DTD to catch bus ( its 8:15 am ) I get to Swan - WOW is what I think. While I am getting checked in I ask if I have friends waiting for a bus in DTD what time do they run - the response is they don't start till 8:30 .. HUM so I get the bell man to bring all luggage to my room and park car .. I go and wait at bus stop - no body yet ?? Where could they be , its almost 9 and MK is opening with out us !! so I go up to room, and get out my cell phone OH 2 messages - 1 says we are going to Hilton to ride bus to MK , 2 says Ruthie and Megan are on way to get us as Monorail won't let them on with having tickets for each person - wouldn't you know I have Meg and Kyle's with me at the Swan.. Ok back to bus stop to wait for Meg and Ruthie. ( they all should have come! ) at 9:20 the arrive and we head out to MK to get on Monorail to ride to TTC ! we get to the Mk in no time and I sooo want to go in but walk up to get on monorail . we get on then Keri calls and said they will let them get on and meet us at Mk get off very quickly !! we are now just waiting at the MK monorail station . Finally they show up and we get moving .. its almost 10:30 WHAAA bad bad planning !!! Ok so we all go in and head for the Train .. We ride to Toon Town and get off .. Kids have been fairly good till now - there is some HEAT related tension I think - we go to Minnies house first then to the Tent to see Mickey off to see Cinderella and Suzy, then to Mickey's house ( Funny thing - Minnie's house had AC and Mickey's doesnt' ?? )
We now wait in line to ride Goofy's Barnstormer - Well Me Kyle Megan and Carly ( Cameron doesn't like alot of the rides ) When we get off the rest are waiting in line for pictures with Max and Goofy - We then head off to Tomorrowland we get fast passes for space mountain - me, Keri, Kyle and Carly - while waiting we watch some of the Dancers on the stage they all did a great job then catch a ride on Buzz . Its now Fast pass time and we head over - Ruthie , Megan and Cameron head for TTA ( they ride 3 times in a row.) Now we head for the exit.. Time for a Swim to cool off - we will come back later.. so off we go catch the bus ride to the Swan. Keri stops at the desk and we all go up to my room 869 and then the phone rings its Keri she doesn't have her Id so she needs the room # to come up - they wouldn't give it to her. so she finally gets checked in .. I am in the meantime searching HI and LOW for my bathing suit ( i never used it in KY but took it out of my suitcase and then I had visitors and put it in the drawer) OMG I have left the only bathing suit I own in KY !!!!!! so everyone else gets suited up and I head down to the gift shop Nope have to go to the Dolphin .. so off i go next door ! Well 65 dollars later I have a suit in my possesion and am heading to the pool and everyone is leaving Thunderstorms w/ Lighting headed this way NO more swimming ! Now i had considered buying a second one but didn't want to spend 30-40 dollars so now i have a 65 dollar one and can't even swim.. MY luck !! ok so we go to Tubbi's and get some dinner.. Pizza was great !! loved that they took my DC discount and Disney dollars. after lunch we head back to the MK and this time we go to Adventureland and we go to the Tiki room - I haven't been here in ages , the show is good. when we get out its pouring buckets and the stroller wasn't covered .. I pull out ponchos for Me, Megan and Kyle - Keri Cameron, Carly and Ruthie do not have them but are ok to walk in the rain. We dash to get stroller on the way to Pirates - fold it up as its soaking wet and just pull it along. after we go into Haunted Mansion , and over to It's a Small world . at this point the rain has almost stopped - we leave the stroller - folded up like at Pirates and HM - with the CM and on the ride we go when we get off the ride the stroller is missing - the CM says yes some lady took it when she got off the ride.. ( this is all I will say I have a vent thread about the stroller being taken ) so we continue on to ride the Carousel, Dumbo, Snow White, Tea Cups, Indy Speedway .then are heading out in time for the fireworks. we are leaving through the Tomorrowland exit and we See TinkerBell Fly !! that was the first time for all of us ! VERY COOL . we stop at the bakery for a bed time snack and then get the bus. I am tired kids are tired so we all hit the sack ( OH MY the heavenly beds are really heavenly!! ) Tomorrow its the AK !!
