June 16, 2013 - 4 night Dream

Hi ladies! Our FE group is closed. Most of us have already purchased/made our gifts. Maybe you could do something with the three of you who are new posters? Sorry we aren't able to add more!!!

Can't believe we are down to two weeks!! Have to start a packing list!!

Who is the third family?

Jkbuchanan and whoever else is last minute and wants to do a small FE group- my email is mystik817 AT gmail.com so email me and I will set us up a thread or something for just us. New to this so figuring it out as I go.

Dawnroach posted above. Not sure if she wanted to do FE or not. Let me know if I can help anyin getting yourselves set up!

Hello, I just signed up to the Dis boards. I'll be on the June 16th cruise with my DD 6 1/2 (Alexei):cheer2:. We were on the same cruise last year, only it was five nights. We had a great time & everything was perfect!!

From the Disney boards, a member started a facebook group that was specifically for our cruise "Sailing the Dream 6/15/2012". I thought it was a good way to get to know a few faces before we boarded, & there were a ton of last minute questions that came up. If anyone else is interested... I'm in. I think I "friended" her on facebook & then she linked me into the group.

If there is interest... I have no problem starting it. We even discussed when we finally lost the "ocean motion" after the cruise.... LOL

BTW, I just booked my trip a week ago & we are both very, very excited :dance3:

I missed the original fish extender deadline too. I'm game but not sure I can pull it off. We leave in a week! I guess I could hang a bag on the hook and I know I could find some gifts!

We are in for the last minute FE;
Email me at lovemy2princesses at gmail.com
to coordinate.

I'll set up a google form for us to fill out and share tomorrow. I'll call it "Better Late Than Never FE Group on Dream 6/16/14".

We're in concierge... I have read elsewhere that you can find us for the FE but I wanted to warn you.

So... There appear to be 3 choices... There are gates that it takes a key to enter on deck 11 (up towards the front of the ship).
1. The gates are often open... And one poster said that he could stick his hand through to open it)
2. Knock on the concierge lounge on deck 12 and they will open door then deliver.
3. Guest services will deliver.

Thanks in advance for putting up with us. So excited about this. Just spent way too long looking at duct tape fish extenders!!!!

Not doing magnets so if you do drop off somewhere off, you won't miss the adorable magnets I've seen on other doors!!!!

Many mant thanks... If you decide to kick us out, just let me know!!!!:confused3

I think we can get them to you one of those three ways so no worries!

On a side note, I was looking into concierge but didn't know what the benefit was for paying that much more. Would love to hear your experience. We did balcony room last year and loved it. Thought the service in that category was great! Couldn't imagine it getting much better.

How fun!! I have a good idea of what Im going to do. Just have to get a chance to pick up our little gifts. Looking forward to it!

We did a suite on holland America a few years ago, and we loved being able to hang out in the lounge and not deal with the crowds that are inevitable on big ships. The staff was amazing and took care of everything. Plus they have snacks (not that you need more food, but there were, again, no lines or crowds) plus free wine, beer, other drinks, soda, water, etc,.. I would like smaller ship, but the demographics, activities, and pretty much everything are not god for teens, so this works for us. To me, we have the best of both worlds.

Almost everyone who does concierge on Disney loves it, but it isn't for everyone. This time we have a verandah room (not a 1-bedroom suite) so the cost is not quite as awful.
