I have a question where did you get the banner the Pirates of the Mediterranean. It is really neat. Also I would love to be a part of your gift exchange. I did read about it in the past boards. I think it would be a great way to get to know everyone. As far as excursions, we are not signed up for any yet. We have been really busy the past couple of months and have not had time to sign up for any. I am hoping to get into a few, if not we will probably go thru alot of local people for tours which is what we have done in the past

The banner was made by Brian who designed our t-shirts. They originally had skull & crossbones much like what you see in the Pirates of Caribbean logo. However, cafe press (who does the shirts) or Disney keep taking the pirate off the logo. I don't know if he plans on putting it up anymore. But you can just copy the image from one of ours & download it to your signature (using the right click).

Happy Memorial Day Everyone!

Well, the big weekend is over. Open house went over really well and we had about 115 people. Thank goodness my mom and aunt were here to help because I finished Britt's slideshow(pictures on DVD) at about 12pm and the open house was at 2pm. I was kinda crazy between Friday and Saturday. But everything worked out great and it was a nice event. Graduation was yesterday and I do have to say it brought a tear to our eyes. It's just nice to have all of that over with so now I can start to focus on the cruise. All of the company have gone home also except my parents and they will leave on Wednesday.

Sue - I am on the laptop right now and the list is on my desktop so I will make sure it is updated tonight and repost it tomorrow.

I know it's too early but just let us know how many is in our gift group. I guess then you buy a small gift for everyone in our group. I like that idea!

Do we want to set a "basic limit" of $5.00 or so?

Except for PURTYPAT she just saved $3,000!!! : (she can buy us all BIG Gifts!) (Just Kidding!)

I don't know if you've read back through all the pages, but we lucked out and got the Roy Suite for this cruise so we are hosting a DIS meet and greet in the Suite on the first sea day. Everyone is welcome so if you and your family would like to join us just let me know. I am keeping a list with everyone's cabin numbers because I plan to send out a reminder on the 16th.

Also, I am trying to put together a list with all the information for everyone such as when you are arriving in Barcelona and what excursions you are planning on doing. This way we can see who is going on the same excursions so we can look for each other. On page 115 there is a list of questions if you want to look at them.

I know you are still trying to figure everything out so just let me know when you have made your plans and if you want to be added to the list.

Thanks so much Patricia and Sue. It was a busy and crazy weekend but it turned out great. We had the food catered so that was one less thing I had to worry about. I thought it was going to rain(which it did earlier in the day) but it cleared up and was really nice during the open house.

At this time we do not have anything booked at Palos
We arrive in Paris on June 14, We are doing Disneyland on the 15th
We arrive in Barcelona on the 16th in the morning
We are not celebrating any special occasions
We are not signed up for any excursions yet
Hopefully we will try to get on a few or we will be doing alot of walking.

I just had my son's graduation party tonight at a restaurant and it was a huge success! I thought my husband was going to kill me since I kept adding to the guest list but when the bill came he didn't flinch! Yeah! It worked out so well, we had a private room with pool tables and fooseball and for the adults the important stuff...a bar! lol It was buffet and everyone mingled with everyone. All was good...one more event taken care of before we leave for the med! My son still has his prom Friday night and then graduation on the 12th so its far from over for us.

So did you downgrade to the cat 12? I'm surprised you can still do that...lucky you! I would have but since I used points there were too many restrictions. I doubt that you will regret it, I'm thinking you will spend very little time in your room anyway.

Congrat's are in order for you too!!!! Is your son & friends going to the Jersey Shore after the prom??? That's what all the Northern Jersey kids do. They usually go to Seaside, which is taking over by teens.

Our favorite restaurant at EPCOT is Alfredo's in Italy. My DH(Tom) and I think the original restaurant is in Florence. Does anyone know for sure? We really want to dine at the original. Anyone care to join us?

I've been reading about other dissers bringing little trinkets...I thought that might be fun. Anyone interested? We could find something small that symbolizes where we are from to give to each other. A keepsake from around the world.

Okay, someone said they wanted to see pictures of the pirate scavenger hunt so all of you are going to have to suffer through them. I went with pirate wench for my costume.

Me in the middle:

My younger sister. She's 16 and she's looking for people her age to hang out with on the cruise. She's digging for some sort of buried treasure.

My older sister had the entire formal living room decorated too look like it had water on the floor and there were gold coins and sails and all sorts of stuff.

So, even though I really didn't care for the movie, the scavenger hunt was amazing (and my team won)!!

Yea, you know what you are comfy with...I was thinking something small that represents where you are from. Even if (in my case) it's a golden gate bridge key chain. (of course it won't be ) But you know, just go with your gut. I would recommend not spending a ton, as we have a cruise to pay for!

So far it's about 7 families, so let's set a deadline to join in...who's leaving the earliest. I know there are some abd people leaving earlier. Tentatively, let's say June 8th. I'll post the final list then. That gives everyone a week or so to pick up something.

We'll explain all about DVC. I am sure they'll have a presentation. Which you should go to, as you'll probably pick up a freebie..they do have PINS that you can't get anywhere else, so maybe that?!?
After the presentation, you should sit down with us owners and ask all the questions they won't answer. Heck, I'd even go to a presentation, just to see how their selling now.

Allright...memorial day DONE! I have eaten too much this weekend Now my dd has one more day off school...inservice days!...then 8 days left. The time has flown by this year. I can't believe in just over 2 weeks we'll be boarding our plane.
