jmcdonnell, I didn't realize that the tickets were included when you booked DLP with points. Is that always the case???

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up who might be looking for a Palo reservation or excursion. DCL has now changed their website and you can look to see what is available before you change anything. Just pull up your reservation then click on My Cruise Plans and at the top of your list are 3 yellow tabs: Shore Excursions, Palo, & Spa Reservations. If you click on shore excursions it will bring up all the excursions and you can see what's available. If there are no spots available it says so just below the listing for that excursion.

Thanks so much for posting about this change in the shore excursion booking--or I would not have taken the time to go back and look again! One of the two shore excursions we wanted originally now has space available (Nice & Monaco), and I was able to easily swap it for the one we had tentatively booked. I am glad Disney was able to enhance/fix their web site in response to our complaints.

Bartty thanks for the info! I think my manly men are taking those zip off pant/short combos--am still deciding for myself (the mantillas sound cool! that would be a tad more dressy than the zip off short boys )

Silver 7 - I'm getting the zip offs for my hubbie and son too. I tried a pair on at Dicks for myself . . . NOT at all attractive!! Think I'll stick with capris or a sundress. Should look great with my lovely old running shoes - ha!

Where is everyone getting the laundry tablets? Have never used these before.

I think they always included the tickets. I did not know until just before booking and read it on the Disboards. I think I checked our yearly DVC Guide book and I saw it in there as well.

Just checked and got a room assignment! Booked cat 12 gty and got room 1064- cat 9! Can't believe that!

Silver - we are also doing Florence and Michelangelo. Will post with list of other excursions once we decide.... so many things to choose from.


Brian- Ordered some shirts today but want some of the other skull ones too- can you ship together?

You dirty dog!! We had actually downgraded from a cat 6 with balcony to the cat 12 room guarantee because of the huge savings. I just checked ours, and we were upgraded, but just to a category 10. We're in 1067 - just across the hall from you. I'll just come knock on your door when I want to see the ocean.

We finally got a room assignment, we're in room 5132. No upgrade here...guaranteed Cat 7....I'm actually disappointed, I think I prefer picking my room. I would not have choosen deck 5, oh well there was no choice anyway and it does feel better to finally have a room.

Welcome bartty!! It's always great to have new cruisers.

I'don't know if you've read back through all the pages, but we lucked out and got the Roy Suite for this cruise so we are hosting a DIS meet and greet in the Suite on the first sea day. Everyone is welcome so if you and your DH would like to join us just let me know. I am keeping a list with everyone's cabin numbers because I plan to send out a reminder on the 16th.

Also, I am trying to put together a list with all the information for everyone such as when you are arriving in Barcelona and what excursions you are planning on doing. This way we can see who is going on the same excursions so we can look for each other. On page 115 there is a list of questions if you want to look at them.

I know you are still trying to figure everything out so just let me know when you have made your plans and if you want to be added to the list.

A little update.

DISers on the May 26th cruise are gettting their docs so it's getting closer for us. Just reading that someone doing a Med cruise is starting to documents makes it seem so much closer!

We booked ourselves..... We arrive at 0820 into Barcelona. USAirways messed up the booking though - and we lost our Envoy seats on the way over.... but we have the direct flight back in Envoy at least.....

You'll recognize us - as my wife will be the one with the grumpy look on her face...... She's not looking forward to the overnight flight....

Hi bartty, welcome to the group. The shirts are done by cafepress I just worked on and uploaded the images for 2 of them. Steph aka:Taysmom did the medhead site and got the ball rolling. The second one (medhead2) keeps getting pulled by cafepress so I just re upload it every week. It usually lasts about a day or so before they kill it. I think most everyone that wanted one has been able to order them but I will still put them up once a week or so for you and anyone that may want more. The medhead3 image is something I did for fun but myself and a few others liked the design so medhead3 was born. I am going to order another shirt for myself from it. The next medhead2 shirts will be up next Monday if you want some.
