6/22 (fri) Sea Day Night event, I think semi formal.
6/23 (sat) Florence. A night event is planned, I believe pirate night.
6/25(mon) Ville Franche This is also a formal night.
These are the dates I had from earlier for formal/pirate. I had written them down from someone elses post so don't quote me on them.

Would you like your magent to have your disname only or one with your names on it. You can Pm me for privacy or reply here. I am going to take a picture of the ones I have done and post..if I can figure that out. I have them all over my office filing cabinet. Just making sure they hold out.

Gee whiz, that is terrible about the excursions, Palo etc. I hope that secret room comes through for the brunch!

Is anyone interested in the green bracelet idea? It would be a simple way for us to identify each other.

Hi Steph - I would like a magnet also. Thank you so much for making them. I think what is going on with the excursions is crazy. DCL should of planned better. We were not able to book brunch or tea at Palos. I am hoping that they will have some openings once on board. I want to try the couples spa villas. The package that I want (Ultimate Indulgence) is only available to book onboard at the spa. I guess I will make a mad dash to the spa once on board.

I want to move a spa time I have already booked. They said there will be a spa "tour" the first day. I am sure it will conflict with our final on our own excursion, but we'll see. You have 24 hours to cancel or change your spa. So if you're not sure just book to hold and then you can check for a better time/date. I would love to have my spa either the first evening /sea day morning instead of the afternoon the 2nd day. We'll see. Same question as above with the magnet. Your disname or would you like one with your name or both. I have made them both ways. So, taylor and I have 3 our individual names and disname. They are quick, easy and free so don't worry about the cost. I have so much magnetic tape left, I think I could make 100 more!

I have yet to hear from my email complaint. Very interesting. It's been almost 24 hours. Way to get back to the customer promptly.

I am satisfied with my choices though. Not ecstatic, but satisfied. I just look forward to this vacation. It's our "once in a lifetime" so I am going to enjoy whatever I get to do!

BUT...if anyone (aside from marie) wants to adopt a "mom" for palo..just let me know. Marie has already adopted me one night, so I have 10 others available

Just to update my previous posts--I got a phone call in response to my email complaint from someone at DCL. She said something to the effect that "Oh, Florence & Pisa, that is very popular and has been booked up for a while now." Rather than re-hash my complaint, I asked her to find out whether they were planning to add any capacity and she said she would get back to me in the next couple of days.

Just my sister and I are going one night. It's written down, but I don't remember which night. Let me check my binder and get back to you. Anyway, the reservation is for 4 people but there are only 2 of us and I just found out my parents aren't interested in joining so anyone here is more than welcome to take those 2 spots.

Wow - I didn't realize you couldn't check out what's available without losing what you already have -that's just crazy Also unfortunate because I know some of these excursions will be cancelled as the trip gets closer. Did you find out if you could "exchange" an excursion on board if something opens up at the last minute?

We would love a magnet - will PM you with our names. Also, I think we have an extra spot on our dinner and brunch reservations at Palo - anyone is welcome to join us too!

Someone on another thread said they save a portion of the Palo ressies for booking on board - don't know if that is true , but won't hurt to try

When you get on board, before you go eat lunch, go directly to Beat Street and go to the Rockin' Bar D to make Palo reservations. The dining staff are scheduled to take reservations in there (and to change dining times, rotations) from 12 noon - 3:30 p.m. and then from 3:30 - 5 you can call 7-6843 from your stateroom phone and leave a voice mail that you would like to make reservations.

They only put so many openings on line for Palo's. Just make sure that you go to Rockin Bar D 1st thing when you get on the ship and I am sure you will have no problems getting reservations.

Do not know if it will work but it is worth a try.

Patricia - I know one night is the 1st sea day and a second one is the Villefranche night. I think I read somewhere that Priate night is Marseille night.

The cruise is getting closer. We leave 2 months from Easter Sunday to go to London. So much to do and so little time but it will all be worth it in the end.

Hi LeiLani - That sounds like fun if we can work it out. We arrive in London on Saturday, June 9th and will be there until Tuesday, June 12th. We are seeing Mary Poppins on Monday night. Then we are off to Paris until the 14th. Taking the overnight train from Paris to Barcelona arriving on the morning of the 15th. It will fast but fun. My kids are really excited about the train trips.

We're flying to barcelona on the 14th from heathrow. Which flight are you? We're on Iberia at 2:30. That would be funny if we were on the same flight.

According to their website and CM, you must cancel an excursion 2 days before sail in order not to get charged for that excursion. They did email me back to let me know to check on board, however they didn't say whether or not I would get charged. So, of course, I replied and asked them how that would effect me. Haven't heard yet, but will keep all informed.

I wanted to see what everyone thought about doing a wine and cheese DIS meet in our suite. We did this the last time we were in a Cat 1 and it turned out really nice. It was a great chance to meet other DISers on the cruise, and it gave everyone a chance to look at one of the big suites. I was thinking about doing this on the first sea day in the afternoon. Rich and I have a spa appointment at 10:45am that I think will last about 2 hours so we could meet sometime between 2pm & 4pm. It is always hard to do this because you run the chance of conflicting with something else but we can just pick a time and whoever can show up will be great.

Let me know what everyone thinks and what times might work.

Hi CArol - So you guys are going to Mary Poppins! We'll have seen it the day before. I'm still a little upset about not getting to try the Elipsos - you will have to let me know how it was! Both of you guys are very smart in getting to Barcelona ahead of time - we are pushing it - not flying in from Paris until the 16th. We leave 8 weeks from Friday

I don't have our seats yet because I am trying to set up something with the hospitality department. If we can't meet up before then, maybe we can meet that night. Where are you guys staying?

The girls and I are doing Paris after the cruise. I wanted a few more days in London this time. I took my parents to Scotland last May and we did a quick trip down to London for two days and it was just not enough. So hopefully this time I will get to see some of the things I missed last time.

Hi Steph - unfortunately we won't be on the same flight. We leave at
9:25am on Iberia. My parents and David and his parents are flying into Barcelona on the 14th so we took an early flight so we could meet up with them.

We don't get into heathrow until 10:30am so that was the earliest flight I felt safe with. AND I just read that you are going to paris afterward, and so are we. Small World! Probably do DLP on friday. I am going to try to get my DD to enjoy the wonders of paris, but she really just wants disney.
