I know that is because they know Willie is coming and they have to take extra time to stock up on Miller Lite---maybe a last minute shipment. Maybe they know we all want more chocolate souffle.

Dont talk about food am still trying to lose from the last cruise.
Hope we can get on board early and settle in wonder if they will have the sailaway party at 10.p.m. All this speculation is not good for me like to get planned in my mind even this early. Dont want to think about disembarkation but it says on the site 06.45 thats early I think.

If anyone finds out any more information please post also details about the hotel and how we can book.

If anyone is getting the drinks in I like Bacardi and coke and also not averse to nice sparking wine like the Fairytale sparking which I tried many times last cruise and really got a taste for it.

Have just been told that Disney have no availability at any of the hotels they recommend prior to the cruise. As nothing was on the web site when we booked about hotel availability wonder if anyone can throw any light on this please.

I think your No Availability is because none of the June 2007 rates have been posted yet, you will have better results when the date is under a year out.

Has anyone reserved hotels or decided if they are flying in a few days before the cruise.

I think we'll fly into Barcelona two days early and stay at a small hotel I've found there. (Can't book yet, and I'm waiting to see what Disney offers.) But I don't think we'll stay at the Eurostar Grand Marina if that's what Disney chooses. It just looks too big and overpriced.

I'm doing some research on cab service and fares in Barcelona, and it looks like it won't be a huge problem to get from a hotel that is a mile away from port to the port.

I am such a geek--have been looking at the door signs thread. Some great ideas! I am thinking maybe just a simple one with the map of the itinerary and some verbiage.

Also, will we lose the Pirates IN the Caribbean party? Would it be Pirates in the Mediterannean?

We are planning on flying in a day or two early. I want to make sure I get over the jet lag before I get on the cruise. I don't know where we are going to stay yet, that's something I have to look into.

Sounds like we all have the same idea. We'll add a little extra time before and after - just waiting for more info to be released. Our problem is that there will be 5 of us and European hotels have those crazy bed arrangements!

I don't know. With all the piracy problems they've been having off the coast of Africa (out in the Atlantic) lately, I would think DCL might not want to theme anything having to do with pirates!

We are trying to decide on what to do pre-cruise. Need to watch pennies so even though we would like to tour around for a week ahead, more than likely it will be just a few days. Also, I need to get back to NY IMMEDIATELY after the cruise ends. What a bummer.

We had thought about flying into London (Cheaper than Barcelona?), staying a few days and then getting an inexpensive flight to Barcelona. Does this sound logical? Another place that we would like to go is Venice--but would be more costly.

Any thoughts? What do we need to budget for airfare from NY?

I can't believe that I am so worried about the details this far in advance!

Hello to everyone,
We will probably fly in a day or two early and will stay at a Hilton property, DH gets points. After the cruise we are thinking of taking the train to Paris for a few days. Oh well plenty of time to plan.

We are DVC members so we thought that we would take the train to Disneyland Paris for a couple of days and use some of our points. It sounds like it may be cheaper to fly into and out of any city except Barcelona.
