Have a great trip Princess Jasmine -- I hope you are selected for a prize in the Million Dreams extravaganza.

I have been waiting to use our DVC points to book a hotel at Disneyland Paris but for back-up I found the Marriott Village on the DLP chat room which is 3 miles from DLP. You can rent a 2-bedroom 2.5 bathroom townhouse that can sleep 6 for 155 Euros per night. Pictures look real nice.

I hope I don't...it would only lead to disappointment. My sister is a Cast Member and blood relatives of Cast Members are ineligible for the prizes. :guilty:

I am sorry that relatives of cast members are not allowed to dream. Have a great time. May the sun rise to brighten each day at the park, may your fun be abundant and the lines short.

Have just visited the site ot pay off our cruise and a different amount came up. Sent email to Dreams unlimited and aparently Disney have just reduced prices, only just so keep a watch. Ours reduced by about $64 but it all helps.

Hi from Pop Century! I am going to check to see if our prices reduced, that would be great. I had no idea Disney did that. Does it mean the cruises aren't selling well?

How was the rest of your trip Princess Jasmine?

Page 3...what a disgrace!!!

The rest of my trip was wonderful! I am very sad that it is over though. :guilty: It was definitely very, very hard to leave my sister, I miss her terribly. Weather was perfect, 80 and sunny every day. I LOVED the Halloween party, the parade and fireworks in particular were spectacular. We also enjoyed a little of the Food and Wine Festival. Overall, the trip couldn't have been better and I can't wait to go back. :goodvibes

So, glad to hear you had a great time - but who would have thought you wouldn't :)
Did you say your sister worked at CR. I will be there 11/8-14. Did you happen to see or hear about any "dreams" being rewarded? I'm sure you will find a way to get back there soon :thumbsup2

Yes, my sister works at the Contemporary in the Fantasia gift shop. Her name is Amanda. Feel free to say hi to her and tell her you'll be cruising with her next summer!

We received an illegal reward! :rotfl2: Someone was walking around on Main St. I guess giving out dreams. They gave me a free pin, told me it was part of the year of a million dreamsa and told me to have a Magical Day. I say it was illegal since family of CM's can't win the dreams. But, I guess with a prize that small they don't bother to check. I saw quite a few people with dream fastpasses around their necks. I have to say I was a bit jealous!

Princess Jasmine, Glad to hear that you had a nice trip and visit with your sister. We are getting excited about our visit in December. The airlines messed with our flights so now we opted to go down a day earlier. We are staying one night at the AKL and then moving to the GF for remaining 3 nights. These are two places we have never stayed at and looking forward to seeing them all decorated for Christmas. We have our Candlelight Dinner Package at Le Cellier and tickets for the MVMCP.

How is everyone, very quiet on the boards I think.

Starting to looking like autumn here leaves changing and falling and a bit damp but still not at all cold.

Anyone got any good plans for trip in Sicily or Sardinia just owndering if it is worth hiring a car or not - have everything else sorted out just need to think about excursions now.

Hope you all hve a great weekend.
Brenda

The AKL and the GF are unbelievable at Christmas. We stayed at AKL last year in January when all the decor was up and the lobby was breathtaking. I love Christmas at WDW, it is such a magical time. I have never eaten at Le Cellier before. I am a vegetarian so I am not sure if they would have anything there for me. But from reading the boards it sounds like the place to be for the Candlelight Processional pacakage! We are doing our CP at the Garden Grill on December 28th. Have you ever seen the processional before? I have not, I am excited for it!

It is very cold here too and the leaves are changing as well. Since I got home Monday night it has been rainy and cold-yuck! It is about 50 degrees today and gray and dark out. Makes me want to go to bed!

Are a lot of you renting towncars and doing excursions on your own? I was planning to just wait until Disney released their excursions and then book those? Is that a bad idea, could I do better doing it on my own? Maybe we could get a group excursion going in one of the ports, I think that would be fun!

Have a great weekend everyone.

Hi Yall

I am going to WDW for a company function next week, and am pretty excited.

We are doing seminars (the work part :sunny: ) the Haunted Hayride, MNSSHP, and tours nonstop. We are ending it with the Party for the Senses. Has anyone done this?

Teresa

Hi Silver7. Have not done ANY of those yet, but I am right behind you - Nov. 8-14. WIll be doing the Party for the Senses so please let me know! Are you doing tours at the parks? We are considering the Keys to the Kingdom tour at MK - we did the Walk in Walt's footsteps at DL last year and it was great.

Does anyone know when excursion info and DLP add on info will be out?????? I know we still have 8 months but I feel the need to know :yay:

Princess Jasmine - I don't think you are crazy waiting - there was a link to some private car/van companies on one of these threads at some point - guess that doesn't help does it :rotfl2: I hope disney will do like Celebrity and some of the others and as part of their excursion options have private car/van options. That way you know they are reputable. I did see something about cruise critic having suggestions?? I know I want to do a "private" car for Rome - I think you would be able to get more time that way. We've been there a few times, so I want to go to some "different" places this time.

I'm keeping all options open at this point!! :)

MV Photon posted the below info about tours/drivers/guides on another thread. I included the link to the thread below and copied and pasted the info. I have booked tours and drivers in all of the ports except Barcelona, Sicily and Sardina. I figured we could do Barcelona on our own and we may just do the ship tours for Sicily and Sardina. I was thinking of doing a beach day in Sardina if possible. Happy planning.

I goofed up when I booked my tour for Florence. I did not realize that the ship was docking in La Spezia and I booked the for the ship docking in Livorno. I hope the driver is able to change and still do our tour. Otherwise I will be back to square one with that port.

Whatever you do, do NOT miss the fireworks and the parade at MNSSHP. They were unbelievable, especially the parade. The whole party was wonderful, I was so impressed with it.
