June 15th Wonder Cruisers

We are sailing June 15th on the Wonder and was curious to who else is going to be with myself, dh , ds, and dd. I just got back from Home Depot with Alien Green Mickey stickers in hand which I will be sticking to my purse. I am really hoping that the cruise will do something special for Father's Day. I just can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are going on the June 15th Wonder, also. We are getting very excited and planning our stay at Disney World. I am going with my dh, ds10, and dd15. What are the age of your dd and ds? We booked 10 months ago and didn't Know until we got on this forum that we have a secret porthole room, 5520.
I do hope they do something special for Fathers day.

Darbear, I have a ds who is 8 almost 9 and a dd who is 11. We will have early seating for dinner. Maybe we will see each other.

We requested early dinner seating also. Knowing my ds he will be at the Oceaneer lab, pool or eating.

Snowball22...we are also going on the cruise!! I have 3ds's (15,14 & 11).
We are also booked for the early dining. I'm getting even more excited seeing there are kids going who are close to the age of mine. This will be our first disney cruise and I don't know if I can wait.

This will be our first cruise. We're already anticipating the salt air and tradewinds (we're beachbums at heart)...

Just being with my daughter on a cruise vacation for Father's Day is the best gift I could ever receive... the experience shared will be a treasured one!

Hi Folks --

Ooooh, this is neat! Making friends before we get there!! Snowball22, one of ds' is 8 as well (the other is 6 yo). They can't wait for all the fun in the labs. I'm hoping DH is comfortable with leaving them. He is very protective. It's only 4 days so maybe he will get comfy

This will be our first cruise (except DH who sailed on a grey boat in the USN). I'm still waiting on room assignments. (my dad made the reservations for the entire family).

Any suggestions?

Oh, we're in the early seating, I think . . .that was something they were double checking on to make sure. . . .

What exactly are these Home Depot Alien Green Mickey stickers?

The Alien Green Home Depot stickers are actually paint samples from the Home Depot Disney paint department. Each sample is in the shape of a Mickey head in all different colors. Alien Green just happens to match the Lime Green color that represents the DIS board adopted color. Alot of Dis members where lime green ribbons when visiting WDW to signify to other Dis members who there are.

Yeah, I'm on the June 15th cruise as well. Me, DH and DD6. 10th cruise but first with Disney. Best friend also coming with DGM, DS7 and DD6. Late seating (I always seem to need down time after coming off the islands before dinner). You'll probably recognize my group because from what I hear, I'll be one of only a few African-American families on board.

Maybe not Goodstarr. DH, DD (the 6/yo) and I cruised for the first time on the Wonder in June 2001 and there were quite a few African American Families on board. It was during the same time that you are cruising. I know because we were on the ship for our anniversary which is (June 15). I wish we could be there with you all on this anniversary but can't make it until December. Have fun!!

My Dh and I are celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary on the first day of the cruise June 15th. We are planning to try to get Palo reservation that night.

We're celebrating our anniversary on the 18th. Undecided on whether to do Palo or not. Too lazy to pack more formal clothes.
