June 15 - June 22 2013 Eastern Fantasy

Sounds good. Congrats on scoring the deal. Thanks for the heads up but we are going for the Bernard's tour for St Maarten. We want to tour the island and hit Maho beach to watch the jets land over your head.

Which one of Bernard's tour are you doing? Have you done it before?

As I posted on FB, that's what we plan to do too. I think we'll probably stick with that but I was still intrigued by the Lord Sheffield Pirate Day cruise, but would only do it if we could do the 4.5 hour version. I didn't go through the entire check-out process on their website, but it appears they only do the two 3 hour cruises or the 4.5 hour cruise each day. If Bobbi is doing the 3 hour cruise, I assume they are not offering the 4.5 hour cruise that day.

On our cruise this past summer, they organized two separate Bernard's tours with just those on these boards/FB. They said that you could customize the tour to your liking. One group went to Orient Beach and the other group did not. I think they both hit the airplane beach as well as a trip to the French side and up to the top of the mountains. We want some beach time so will try to schedule one that has an extended stop at one of the beaches.

I did verify our cabin holds 5. We are in a Cat 8C (family oceanview) so there aren't as many of those on each deck so maybe that is why I couldn't add on. Just a guess on my part though.

Could you change rooms?

Hello fellow cruisers! The June 15 Eastern Caribbean will be our first Disney cruise. We usually spend every summer vacation at Disney World. I will have lots of questions!! The crew includes DH, myself, DD-19 and DS who will celebrate his 16th birthday on June 16. We are in cabins 7681/7683 which are inside cabins aft. I toured the Disney Dream in May and was amazed - cannot wait to sail on the Fantasy! I look forward to counting down with everyone!

:welcome: aboard the Father's Day Eastern Fantasy. We have done 8 previous cruises along with one Fantasy so please ask away any questions. There are several other DISser that are veterans so If I can not answer someone will chime in. Also please see the first post for this cruises info/roll call of cruisers and link to the FB meet site. My DS had his 11b-day on the Fantasy last year so make a note on your ressie and the CMs will celebrate his b-day at dinner.

Thanks so much!!! I did send a request to join the FB page too! I want to read through everything and then I am sure I will have questions!

We want to stick with an Oceanview (not many left) and have my wife's side of the family in cabins nearby. I'll keep trying and I can see the logic that people will free up cabins as the final payment comes closer.

Went down Friday evening to see the Disney Wonder for first Disney ship to visit here in San Diego. Made the entire family even more anxious for our cruise in June (we all really wanted to sneak on board).

We have not done the Bernard's tour before when we were in St Maarten. We are still looking at which tour. The only required item we want to do is Maho beach. We would like do to a beach for a short time but maybe not Orient beach. We have a DD 14 and DS 10 and really do not wish to explain european swimwear to them. :scared1::scared1: If others are interested then we can form a group and choose the itinerary so please let me if anyone else is interested and what you would want to do.

Sounds awesome. You'll have to post some pics of the Wonder. It has been since 2009 since I last saw her. We were just about to disembark from the Magic and the Wonder was in PC after drydock. It is a great sight seeing both the sisters at the same time. Here is a pic of the Wonder at sunrise.

Welcome! We did our first Eastern on the Fantasy this past June and enjoyed it so much that we booked this one to do it again. We enjoyed both St Marteen and St Thomas, especially the Catamaran tours and snorkeling.

I have a "Rebecca" too. She will be 13.9 years old on the cruise! :cool1:

We just booked this cruise! It will be our 7th Disney cruise and 4th Eastern cruise, but first time on one of the new ships. Our last Eastern was 2005, so it we're looking forward to doing it again.

Our daughter is graduating from high school in May so it's also a celebration for her. She's excited about finally going to Palo!

Traveling are:
Julie
DH Horace
DD Rebecca 18
DS Garrison 15
