We are there June 14-23 for AAU Volleyball Nationals!!!!! Can't wait!!!!

This will be my DDs first time flying, and our first mother daughter trip.

How are the crowds this week? We went during Spring Break 2012 and survived so I think we will be fine :)

MK will most likely have phased closures daily..... I hope that gives you am idea of just HOW crowded it will be. I have not been for Christmas before but I hear it it SUPER crowded.

I never had a bad experience during this week...The crowds really start to pick up the next few week leading up to July/August. If you plan right and take the advice of some of the crowd calendars you shouldn't have a problem at all.

Have never experienced that during that week in the last 3 years...

I'm using easywdw crowd calendar and planning to be there for rope drop, leave mid day for a resort break and come back in the evenings. Spring break we had crowd levels of 10 every day and it was also in the 90s all week so I feel like we are somewhat prepared lol.

I have been this same week for the past three years and never once experienced a crowd closure. No doubt it's busy but never too bad.

I think the crowd level are right around 8 that week (they go to 9 the next week). Spring Break is a rough time to go (families off and the illusion of cooler weather seem to have the biggest impact).

The Mid-day break helps...a shower and fresh cloths can do a lot.

This is our plan.... Following easywdw..... Rope drop each mornings beat park, break for swim and or nap/rest then evening at next best park..... Usually do morning emh but not this trip it's to short so DD and I will go hard and strong, ok not really, but you get the point. I got those fold up water bottles that can attach to a belt loop and a small mister. I should be used to the heat by then as its getting warm here at home.

We are doing something similar on our Magic Kingdom day but for our midday break we are going to take the launch over to Fort Wilderness and go to the petting zoo and get something to eat. We have reservations for the Wishes Dessert Party that night.
