June 15, 2012 - 2 Night Getaway on the Disney Magic from NYC!

I want to go back for the July and August two night cruises. Just perfect, enjoyed everything about it, except leaving.

What a fantastic cruise! My boyfriend and I had a blast. He's a first time cruiser so I was worried about what he would think but he loved it! We managed to snag a last minute reservation to Palo on the second night at 6PM. We had just walked up to the desk to ask and they were able to seat us then. Talk about luck! If it was any of you who cancelled, thanks LOL.

I'm ready to go on another cruise!

Great cruise...wish there were more from NY!

Hi everyone -- My husband and I had so much fun on the NY nowhere cruise! Cruising by the Statue of Liberty was one for the bucket list. The only bummer is that I didn't run into some of you. Otherwise, a thumbs up from start to finish. One of the fun highlights to this cruise was that a friend of mine (who was also on board) and I along with two other friends who are scattered across the country got approval from Disney to start our own travel agency. So one of our first agency dummy bookings on board were for ourselves -- and that was really cool. And now I'm turning to piles of laundry that were waiting for me when I got home. Some things never change! :)

I forgot to mention that I never did see Minnie in a Statue of Liberty costume. Does anyone have a picture of her in that outfit? If so, would you mind posting it?

Beth,

Such a fun cruise. Getting the approval from Disney right before we left made the cruise even more fun. Glad that everyone decided to rebook while onboard. Let the fun begin with the agency!!:cool1::thumbsup2

I walked past your stateroom like 5 times! :rotfl: We were on deck 7 too. I saw your ears with 'tinkerbelltwins' on the door. I should've stopped and said hello!

Darn -- it would have been so fun meeting you too. The problem with the 2 day is that it didn't give that much time to wander around and meet and greet. I hope to meet you on a future cruise!

That green tinkerbelltwins Dis magnet was an FE gift from a fellow cruiser back on my first cruise! I love it so much and might be replicating it for future FEs!

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm still feeling the swaying of the ship at odd moments during the day!

I've never been on a cruise before. What was the dress code like for breakfast, lunch, and dinner?

Did anyone notice if this Vinylmation was available for purchase on the cruise?

I bought it too. I should have bought two, however, because my twins are fighting over it! I also found the DCL Tervis mug that everyone was talking about on other boards. They weren't selling it at Mickey's Mates or Treasure Ketch, instead it was being sold up at a kiosk place near the Mickey Pool.

We are sailing on the July 13 weekend cruise. Should we still bring our passports? Just wondering since there are no foreign ports to consider.

Thanks! :goodvibes

First Cruise for my niece - was great to share the Magic with her!! Can't wait to sail again

Original or Certified Copy of Birth Certificate and Valid Govt Issued Picture ID OR Passport is needed to sail - Picture ID and Key to the World Card are all that is needed to re-board from the Canadian Ports
