you are welcome - it hasn't been overly difficult but everyone on these threads has been really good about answering. On some cruises the organizer is chasing folks until the second day to get cabin numbers.

I am falling off the planet again - off to the Magic on her FIRST NYC DEPARTURE! We leave tomorrow so I will not be around.

I will have printed copies of the list for everyone when we board. The meet n greet is when the lanyards and lists are given out usually - Michael Cathy and I will already be onboard from the prior cruise so we will be ready to meet everyone!

Be back on the dis in about 10 days!

have fun on the Magic, I want to know a few things after, one is what time the port opens and two is everyone about the 8 day, I'll be doing on of them in August

The weather was not to bad when they sailed out.

We went and had a look at the Magic today from the Jersey side, I'm looking forward to boarding her in New York.

I can not wait....I told my DHubby about the photos I saw on the forum of the Magic going under the VNB..and view from the Statue of Liberty camera...so beautiful even in the fog and mist.

I pray for sunny weather on June 15th....

I haven't yet posted on this thread but wanted to say a quick hello. My dh and I will be sailing with you all (leaving the kiddies home). Excited to see our friends K & B (Kritter and husband) as it's been 6 years since our last cruise with them!! I just wanted to add it WILL be a beautiful weekend . Positive thoughts from all will assure it ! June is a beautiful month after all, hence all the "June brides" you're always hearing about. See you all real soon!

Hurray to cruising without the kids (3 sons)....

I just said to my DH today that I felt a little bad to be cruising with out them after seeing the photos of the Magic from NYC harbor....He said he did not feel bad at all and then I said to him you know what your right...

....our whole lives revolve around our 3 boys, as it should, but it is nice once awhile to enjoy a little alone time...good for the marriage...

....see everyone on the 15th.....it's getting closer....

I get the whole cruising without kids thing. It's only for 2 days...DH when he booked this cruise, thought I'd want them there, so we won't be so lucky. One day he'll get that we need a vacation alone...LOL

As you know ...we are crusing alone for my 50th birthday....we did for my 40th too...we went to Bermuda. We have gone a couple other time alone for my work. We did 2 family vacation last year and we are going all together in August....see you on the ship....

Oh I get it completely...I wish my DH would have thought that way. We went away alone for my 40th and haven't been alone on a vacation since....I don't know what he was thinking...I could have lived two days without the kids...it would have been a nice break....

We have a son,who is now 19,he will not be cruising with us,we also cruised last Sept . On the DVC members Dream cruise. It was delightful.

So I was out last night, at Bonefish grill,at their community table,waiting for my companion,and started to talk to the people around me. All of them are cruising within the next month. Two on other cruise lines and one on DCL. DCL cruiser is June 10 to Canada, nice to chat with her about DCL.
