June 15, 2012 - 2 Night Getaway on the Disney Magic from NYC!

I will try tonight to make a Palo reservation, if it doesn't happen I will try again onboard. We won't go hungry on this cruise, and will have a grand time no matter where we eat. I am happy with room service in the cabin. I hope they have Mickey Bars.

Hey, Cayla!
Interesting - I found the same Dinner times as you (looked just now, about 8:15 Friday morning), BUT I did find Brunch availability on Day 2, not sure of the times. Gotta love the DCL website.

And tonight it's the Silver window that opens - first-timers will be in 15 more days!

See ya real soon!

Thank you for checking this is so important to me and now I have some hope and feel a lot better, I don't care about brunch but won't turn it down if its available.

Also thanks for the tip about logging on just at or after midnight and not before, this is the first time that I have been so anxious to get online and get a spot on the boat.

Guinness, Budweiser....He's not really picky!! :rotfl2::rotfl2::rotfl2:

OK, I'll go with the flow:rotfl:

I am still getting bruch not available
I think it was just a fluke this morning - I haven't seen it since:surfweb:

Well, a final bit of pixie dust, pixiedust: and good luck tonight. You already have a spot ON the boat:thumbsup2, and you WILL enjoy your anniversary dinner in PALO.

Well did Palo reservation for dinner on second day (I hope to drop off the kids at the kids club) would prefer brunch but I will see if I can switch when I get on board. Since I was Silver Castaway I was able to finish my online check in. I was able to pick the earliest port arrival time which was :11-11:30AM. :cool1:

I got us Palo for the 1st night,:cool1: and booked a massage for me early saturday morning.:thumbsup2 Wanted to do a couples massage, but the times were really not good. They only had late afternoon or evening left and I may be having fun doing something else and not want to go, so I will do a solo massage Sat morning.

Alright got my dinner scheduled at Palos yeah so excited to celebrate my anniversary on the ship.

There were lots of times still available for Sat night last night when I booked.

Also all the port times were still open I got 11am I like to get on the ship ASAP so I am super excited about this as well. Although I plan to be at the port as soon as they open up.

and there you go - all in for PALO

Can't wait:banana::banana:

I was away all day yesterday and did not get online till today and everything is gone.

I have heard on these boards that DCL does not make all reservations available online, is that true? I hope so....

I know there is only 2 nights so I figured things would go quickly.

Any chance of things opening up....or when I get onboard? Thanks for the help....:wizard:

I guess I'm completely confused as to how the above applies to this 2 night cruise??? :confused3

From what I understand, what you said above is perfect if one is traveling on a longer cruise. I don't believe there is a formal night on this cruise, so tuxes and formalwear are definitely not necessary. In addition, I would think many, don't even have to check their luggage as most will have smaller suitcases. I know I'm probably just going to have the small one that fits in the overhead on a plane. I'd just as soon take that with me and not have to wait for my stuff. JMHO.

lol - yea, most of it won't apply. I think it was more the infor about the port etc I was posting for. However, that being said - I have Palo the first night, brunch and tea on day 2...so I need more formal clothing than not :laughing:

However, I am ALSO on a back to back, from the 5 day before.

I am very excited about this cruise!!

Couldn't get a reservation for Palo. Guess I'll have to ask about in onboard but it doesn't look like my chances are very good!

I am in the same boat as you....I missed getting in on Saturday and now there is nothing. With only 2 nights it going to be tough.

I did not realize they would have brunch too....which looks like it is already sold out too....

Good luck with Palo...:)

I have heard half of Palo slots are reserved for on-board booking. Don't fret, put your name on the waiting list, people cancel all the time.

just keep trying the lady at disney said there is a lot of people on this ship that are first time disney sailers so here is hoping they held some Palo's spots for them and you can sneak in that day and get one....

We are hoping something opens up for Brunch

I have never been given a percentage of how many they hold for onboard. However, you can always waitlist yourself - sometimes they re0organize the seating and make more space. They also will use the private dining room if it isn't booked - they can fold the large table and put 2 or 3 small 2 tops in there (very snug!)
