Almost second page again:scared1: Gotta keep bumped up so I'll ask another question...or two:rolleyes1

Who is your favorite Disney Character?

What is your favorite Disney Animated Movie?

My favorite is of couse Stitch followed very closely by Walt Disney himself:teeth:

Favorite Movie is also Lilo and Stitch but I gotta say The Little Mermaid is not too far behind.

My favorite charter is Belle and Ariel. My DM and DB love Stitch as well and I don't know about anyone else in our group.

My favorite Disney Animated Movie...so many to chose from! :goodvibes I love Beauty and the Beast and Little Mermaid of course but Toy Story and Cars are right up there too! My DH loves Aladdin and again DM and DB love Lilo and Stitch and I don't know about everyone else...I should ask :). popcorn::

This question actually makes me want to watch these again!!

Does anyone know what shows they are going to have on the ship? Do they change them every year? We LOVED the shows last year, but I would really like to see new ones so heres to hoping.

Good Morning All!

Sorry I've been a little quiet on these boards the last few days but it's been so busy around our house! We are going to see in laws this weekend so as soon as we get home, it's back into Disney Mode!

Really looking forward to meeting everyone. I'll think about my favorite Disney character and movie. When my DS was little, about 2 or 3, his favorite character and movie was Peter Pan. I still think that's one of his favorites but as he is getting older (a whopping 6 1/2! :rotfl: ), his interests are hands down Pirates of the Caribbean and is now getting into Star Wars and Indiana Jones!

TTFN!:goodvibes

It looks like the same three are still there:

Disney Dreams...:cloud9: my favorite
Golden Mickeys...on formal night
Twice Charmed...amazing costums

plus they said we will get to see a limited one (specail cruises only):
When Mickey Dreams...kinda like Cirqure

I am looking forward to seeing them all again.

My favorite character is SORCERER MICKEY :smickey: of course! followed closley by Mike Wazowski of Monsters, Inc., DD's favorite is Tinkerbell :tinker:, DS is partial to Pluto pluto: , and DH doesn't have a favorite but let's just say sometimes he closely resembles Grumpy :lmao: ! My favorite non-animated character is Captain Jack Sparrow pirate: (yummy!).

Favorite movie animated movie is...that's a hard one....I love Fantasia, Monsters, Inc. and of course Little Mermaid (I don't think there's one I don't like) and your right, djdj456....talking about them makes me want to watch them! I'll let you all guess what my favorite non-animated feature is...:rolleyes1

It's getting harder and harder to work especially knowing that the Magic is so close :jumping1:

AirTita - have fun with your in-laws and be safe this weekend....

Anyone else have plans for the Holiday! Christine and I would love to drive to CA to see the Magic arrive but we could probably book another cruise for what it would cost us in gas :scared1: ! We'll have to settle for webcams :sad2:

Since we are only 24 days away...let's talk about the cruise:dance3:

What excusions does everyone have planned?

Here's mine:

Cabo - We are going to be on our own. I plan on going over the ME by Melia Cabo and spending most of the day on the beach. They let cruise passengers use the resort for a fee that is given back to you as a credit for food and beverage...I have a feeling we will use it more towards beverages than food:rolleyes1 We might need help getting back on the ship:lmao:

Mazatlan - I want to sleep in and than take a taxi to the Golden Zone...we will start at Senor Frogs and have a feeling we won't make it much passed there, all I can tell you is plans do involve body shots...are you starting to see a theme here:rolleyes1

PV - we have the 8:15am Zip Line booked through Disney. When we get back to the ship and are going to take naps since it's pirate night and I really want to watch Pirates outside.

Too excited to work :stitch::stitch::stitch::stitch::stitch::stitch:

My DH and DFIL are doing power snorkle, my family is doing a beach excursion and myDMIL and I are going to explore Cabo (although we haven't planned anything so if anyone has any suggestions please let me know!)

My family is also exploring and going to the Golden Zone, but thanks to younger siblings I doubt they'll participate in the Senor Frogs. They plan to do some shopping. Everyone else is doing the off road adventure.

My family is scheduled for another beach day, minus my 17yr old DB. The rest of us are going on the 10:45 zip line. I think I'm going to be scared to death but I am SO looking forward to it!!

I am so excited that I think I have told every single person at work and church that we're going on a cruise. People keep asking me how many days we have left and I pretty good at giving exact days haha.

On a totally different note, with all the new charging for every checked bag at the airport nonsense I fear I will no longer be able to bring as many shoes and clothes :guilty: I have no idea what I'm going to do but I MUST get creative. When my husband heard about the charges and looked at all the stuff I already had packed (and that's only like 10% of what we need to bring :scared1: ) he wasn't so happy. You all are so lucky you're driving!

I understand your pain...we are lucky on this cruise but for my Nov one I have to fly to Orlando. I have already accepted the fact that I will have to pay at least $25 because there is no way I can fly with only 2 pieces of luggage. I bring a portable scale to make sure nothing is over 50lbs.

They do have washing machines on board if you have to double up on outfit to pack lighter. They also showed on the news today how rolling your clothes lets you fit more into your luggage. I have also purchased a couple of pieces of new luggage that weights much less than the old ones so I stuff them first because I know they won't go over the limit.

What airlines are you flying? If it's American...sorry:mad: they are the worst...at least you won't have to pay coming out here just flying back.

We're flying US Airways so I can pretty much bet on paying for luggage AND being late (gotta love US Airways! wheres the little expression where the guy is pulling his hair out...thats how I feel but we'll have to go with :headache: ). We are planning to only bring 1/2 the clothes and wash them at my parents after the first week but at this rate we may have to bring even less and wash them on the ship...but last time we did that there was something in the washer and ruined my husbands new sweat shirt/jacket which really made us mad so I'm a bit hesitant. Oh well we'll see...I suppose we'll figure it out in a week!!

Okay I'm done venting about the luggage situation...I'll start thinking about the amazing cruise!! :cloud9:

Here are our plans, so far...

We've 2 res. for Cabo Dolphins but hoping some people drop out and we can snag 2 more spots. If nothing opens by the 3 days prior, we have a back up in PV. No other plans for Cabo. It's very arid looking so it may be a ship day or we'll decide on board if we do anything.

In Mazatlan, we have the Sierra Madre Tour booked through Disney for the entire group

In PV, we have the whole group booked for the the Tequila Tour and then the Dolphin Swim for the 2 older kids at 4p if Cabo Dolphins doesn't work out. DS and DBiL are thinking about doing a zip line so they may opt out of Tequila Tour. Really hoping for Cabo to come through since it's Pirate Night and we may miss dinner if there aren't frequent shuttles back to the ship. If we have to do the PV Dolphins, I'm going to beg for the 1st group and then jump on the 1st shuttle back. The tour includes a meal but I can miss it!! We can't miss pirates; my son will disown me! pirate:

I think AA Sucks for charging to check your bags! :furious: The airlines should just charge what they have to instead of nickle and diming for every little thing. What's going to happen is flights will be delayed because no one will want to pay the extra $$ so everyone will be bringing their luggage on board. The airplanes are just so big and there is not enough storage for every passenger to stow 2 bags so the poor Flight Attendants are going to go crazy trying to accomodate everyone and end up taking a delay when they have to check the carry on bags because they ran out of overhead bin space! So...if the passenger who cannot find room for his luggage and the flight attendants have to check his bag, will he be subjected to the $15 checked baggage fee??? Okay, now I will humbly step down from my soapbox.

Okay - back to packing for the in laws. It's about a 6 hour :drive: drive but we're bringing our 60 lb. puppy with us (1st time for him and us on a long drive) so the in laws can meet him which means it will probably take 7+ hours instead. I would much rather stay home this weekend to catch up and really start the fun stuff like the cruise but DH won't go without me  so gotta go! :goodvibes
(I'm going to try to check in over the weekend ~ I miss too much when I don't :)

I agree 100% with you on the Airlines...they are really making it miserable to fly.

Have a fun and safe trip this weekend...just think when you get back there will be less than 3 weeks:dance3:

Since this is the first DC for me, I'm not sure how they usually send them :confused3 and these were sent to my TA first. I bet you'll get them soon :goodvibes. That would be a nice thing to have waiting from you when you get back from your trip this weekend :thumbsup2

Mine will go to the TA first. I won't have them until next week:sad1: Everyone will be doing the document dance :dance3: way before me!
