If we didn't have Disneyland Hotel Reservations, we might have just brought our R.V. and camped in the lot All right as we get closer we might as well just arrange a tailgate in the parking lot! Those parking lot attendents wouldn't know what to do with this group!!!

Brooklyn I hope the auditions went well! I was stuck in L.A. at a long meeting yesterday and then stuck on a train on a closed line that made a two hour return trip into a 5 hour one.

I left work early hoping to get a jump on preparations for a long weekend at the Magic Kingdom we have planned with my sister. DD 17 had a doctors appointment to have a toe checked that she has been having lots of pain with. (She's a dancer so that isn't that unusual but this was getting to be a bit more than average discomfort.) The podiatrist took one look at it and immediately did surgery and removed the nail on the large toe and other yucky stuf to the nail bed!! So it will be a rather interesting weekend at the park!! Please send her healing wishes as she is both in pain as well as in shock!

I'll check in on the boards before we leave and I'll make sure we let Mickey know that he has quite a handful coming his way

So it looks like most everyone has kids traveling with them. Does anyone plan on doing any of the adult activites? We loved Magic Quest (very very funny) and Pub Night. Although I have to admit I am looking forward to family Karaoke I truly love to embarrass Darlene's son and I think singing a song to him just might do it

OK I have started putting our list together. In addition to your family pictures I would also like to know how many DC's you have taken and if you have late or early seating. The rest of the info I can get off of Stephanie's sheet. For those of us that have Gty room as soon as you get the numbers please let me and Stephanie know so we can update our lists. Thanks.

Oh my goodness....please tell DD we hope she feels better quick , poor thing that is PAINFUL! Tink will make it feel much better this weekend but I can imagine she'll be a little nervous with lots of other feet are around her at the park. Between your loooonnnng day yesterday and DD's toe, you guys deserve a nice big dose of Disney! HAVE TONS OF FUN!

Here's an update from our afternoon...Just got back from DD's swim meet - good news and bad news - she made the top 16 again so she'll have a 2nd swim at the Regional Finals on Saturday afternoon. But, it was a nail-biter during her last event - the 500 freestyle (20 laps ) Because it's so many laps, the swimmers can't keep track of what lap they're on so they have "counters" at one end of the pool with numbers on long poles that go in the water on odd laps allowing the swimmers to see what lap they're on as they approach the turn. Well, her lap-counter, and good friend, thought she was putting lap 17 in the pool and she put in lap 19 so Alix stopped the race 2 laps short. She didn't know it until she had been on the wall for a couple of seconds (which is like hours to a swimmer) and one of the kids ran over and said she didn't finish. She swam the last two laps but her time really suffered. She would've finished in under 6 min - with the mistake she finished at almost 6.5 min. Yikes! I honestly didn't think she would make the top 16 with that time but you guys must have wished lots of good thoughts 'cause she did. She got out of the pool and her ENTIRE team gave her a group hug..I think everyone was crying including yours truly. Alix has no hard feelings though...they are a really tight team and it could happen to any one of them so I'm proud of her for that and she gets another crack at it on Saturday (but maybe with a different counter ).

Off to make dinner - have a great night everyone!!!

Just got back from a VERY long day!!!

I totally think we should have a meet in the parking lot!!! Then we need to discuss meeting for lunch or on deck somewhere.

Great news on making the team!!!! That is too bad what happened to her but it is awesome that she still finished in the top 16!!!

Audition updates: Well we actaully 3 today. The first was through her print agent. It was for Ford automobiles and a breast cancer website. It went well so we shall see.

Next was for a short film. The guy was really responsive to her. He even came out of the room to tell us when it shoots. He did not seem to do that for anyone else. You just never know though!!!

The last was the Disney audition. It seemed to go really well. Our babysitter who dd is very close to was also on the audition. The directors were in from Orlando. Basically they talked to them and had then pretent to interact while watching a Disney parade. It seemed really cute. It would be an awesome thing to book!!!

I will let you know if we hear anything on any of these.

DD - 6 has 2 auditions tomorrow...One is a huge job for Ford Motors and Breast Cancer awareness. The next is for DISNEY Vacation Club. It films for 5 days at DISNEYLAND!!! How cool would that be?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

So any good thoughts you can send this way would be great!!!

Okay, here's a pic of us from last summer. Don't think I have one of the four of us more recent than that but we look pretty much the same...my hair's a bit longer and DS is taller but you get the jist. First Disney cruise BUT NOT THE LAST!!!!!

Brooklyn - I showed DS your pics with Jeter...his eyes practically fell out of his head . Now both my kids think you are pretty much the luckiest person EVER! Here is a pic of DD, DS and DD's b/friend at a Las Vegas 51's game. Being that they are the farm team for the Dodgers, they got some looks but they strutted their Jeter garb with pride!

I am so excited. I can't wait to get on that ship.

My suitcases come out next weekend. I have started my parking spreadsheet but I really need to get that finished. The nice thing about taking lots of cruises is you have a cruise wardrobe and makes packing very easy; the bad thing is in all of your pictures you are wearing the same thing

I am excited to just sit back and watch Darlene and her family see the ship for the first time.

OMW Ive been having DIS Board withdraws for no reason!! For whatever reason I never got messages in the last week saying people posted. Thats terrible!! Anyways, since my hubbie is out tomorrow night and Im stuck at home I'll make sure to catch up

To answer your question Im most looking forward to relaxing and eating (but not having to cook!) and spending time with family....okay so thats more than 1 but that pretty much sums up everything Im looking forward too.

In response to your questions, yes, we are all a bit crazy!!
But......if you have to be crazy for something, isn't this a good one?
I've always said, I need a vacation when I get home from a vacation! It's hard to sleep on vacation when you have young kids and I want to enjoy and take advantage of every Mickey thing there is! I can sleep when I get home!
So.....looks like we both were up at 6 a.m. on a Saturday!

Oh, believe me, my husband think I'm out of my ever lovin mind and reminds me that I'm goin crazy but lucky for me it's a short trip (smart a** that he is)...but then again he's not surprised at all and is used to me being Disney crazy I'm laughing out loud reading Brooklyn's post about our race to port and he says.."tell me why again we're gunna get there when its dark?"....I say...for FUN OF COURSE!!!! Good morning all

What a fabulous day here...windows are open, sun is out, birds are chirpin...everyone else is asleep...just me and my dog awake - the house is very peaceful (except for that helicopter that just went over my house..hmmm). I'm pretending that I'm on Deck 10 before the rest of the ship wakes up

I hope Secretkeeper has nice weather like this for her trip to DL this weekend! I've was lurking on the May 10th repo thread yesterday and was getting so excited for them. What a trip they have in store (Brooklyn - bet that would bring back memories for you guys!). I save the links to keep track of the Magic and I'm hoping to be home in time to be able to see them leave PC. They have just got to be jumping out of their skin!! I wished them safe sailing and said to take good care of her 'cause we are counting the days till she's our !

Crazy day today, like always. DD's swim meet is at 1pm and DS's last baseball game is at 1pm too...on opposite sides of town...this should be interesting ! Which us all luck! After that it's off to Christine's sister's wedding. All good stuff
