June 14, 2009 WONDER-ful cruise

Welcome aboard DISFamily18!!!
You should consider joining the fish extender group with us. I think your sons would enjoy it. The more, the merrier!:woohoo:

A Fish Extender (FE) is a hanging pocket organizer that hangs from the fish outside your stateroom door. The fish is where notes and such are put for your stateroom. People put small gifts or trinkets inside and you do the same to the other cruisers. Some ideas are postcards, candy, pens, crayons, tattoos, keychains, etc.

I volunteered to coordinate a list. I will put it together after my May Disney cruise.

There is a thread here on the cruise forum that explains it further and has pictures of how you can make your own FE and give you more ideas for gifts. If you aren't creative, you can search ebay for "fish extender", "hanging pocket storage" or "hanging pocket organizer".

Been reading about that on the boards and it does look fun. Go ahead and count us in. The boys will look forward to finding little trinkets from time to time during the cruise. Once we are assigned a room we'll let you know. We'll be the ones down in the steerage class on the bottom;) Come down and see us.

Are the DISers planning on meeting during the Sail Away party. We'd love to drop by and say hi.

Hi!

We'll be trying our first cruise next summer. We are so excited! It will be myself, DH, and twin boys (8 by then).

Joining us will be my SIL, BIL, and their son (he will also be 8).

Let us know if you are sailing with us!

Hello Everyone!

My wife and I will be on this cruise too. It's our second Disney Wonder cruise. The first time was in 2002. We are cruising with another family and it will be their first Disney cruise. No kids for us, but they have 4. I'll keep an eye open for everyone!

Enjoy!

Thanks! I need to check with our friends to see if they are ok with giving out their room number. We have adjoining rooms and two of their children will be staying with us.

Was just counting down the days to our cruise and starting to get excited. Well not starting but continuing is more like it :woohoo:.

Started planning packing ideas and buying a few things as we go.

Do we know how many are participating in the FE exchange? I've got some ideas about what to do for that but need to start getting a feel for how many supplies to order.

Still waiting for a cabin assignment as well. Understand that seems to happen around the 30 day mark. Still have our fingers crossed for a cool upgrade:thumbsup2 but we'll see. How much time do we really spend in the cabin anyway?

Looking forward to meeting you all.

C U in 47 days :cool1:.

We will be going along on the cruise as well. This is our frist cruise and we are driving in from Texas. My girls are 8 and 10. They are so excitted. I am
also bringing my mother along to enjoy Mickey and Minnie!!:cool1:

Thank you for the Welcome. We would also like to join the Fish Extender Group if we could. We do not know our room number as of yet, but I will check today. What all do we need to do to prepare for it?

:)

We will be in room 2077 for now, subject to upgrading... COOL!!! There will be 2 adults and in the room with (8) Girl and (10) Girl. We can't wait!!

Can you believe we are almost to the one month mark? Unless I've missed it, I don't see anything about where we are all from. Bashful of course is TN, but where is everyone else from? We are from Indiana.

Yeah, nearly a month to go, it's time to get this thread fired up. :cool1::cool1:.

We're from Atlanta via St. Louis. Looking forward to our first cruise. Just picked up a copy of the Passporter and have been starting to organize our schedules and put together our lists.

Can't wait to run into some of you guys on the ship.:woohoo:

We are from Houston, Texas. I can not beleive school will be out in 3 weeks and 3 days and then it will be just one week until we leave for the cruise.

:woohoo:
