Hello fellow cruisers!

It looks like there hasn't been a thread started yet for this cruise, which I booked yesterday for my family, so I will get things going!

I'll start off by introducing myself and my family:

me: Sarah (Disney fanatic)
DH: Tom (willing to put up with my addiction)
DS: T.J. (age 13 at time of the cruise)
[DD: Shelby (age 18 at time of the cruise) not sure if she will join us]

This will be our fifth Disney Cruise and our first on the Fantasy! Our last cruise was a 14-night Mediterranean on the Disney Magic -- that was fabulous!

We DEFINITELY want to participate in Fish Extender, which I believe we can organize here, or make another thread for it specifically. Also, on our last cruise I organized a Mixology class, and we also had a meet and greet on boarding day -- both were wonderful. As we get closer to our dates, we can firm these up, I imagine.

Can't wait to meet our fellow cruisers!

Hi -we are very excited to have booked this trip. This is a girls trip for us. I will be traveling with my Mom and my 9yr old daughter. This is our 2nd cruise on the fantasy. Looking forward to knowing the ropes a little bit more this trip!!

Hi everyone, We just booked this cruise yesterday. This will be our 21st Disney cruise and the 2nd time on the Fantasy. So far it is just my wife (Lynn) and I (Tom) but, we have invited friends to join us if they can. I will start my retirement starting in April and we will be celebrating our 35th anniversary on June 12th while on this cruise.

Hi friends, I am booking this cruise for 31 of us!!! I am new to Disney cruising but not cruising. Any suggestions? I am looking to book it tomorrow and put down deposit but I'm not seeing 9 rooms in the category I want. Do they hold some back??? I'll call in the morning but my mind is going crazy because I'm in charge. I immediately hopped on CC and knew yall would help me. Experienced Disney peeps = I'm going to read all the stickies right now but what else do I need to know? I specifically have a question from one of the parents about the balcony kid lock since we're booking all balcony suites.

Hi guys! This will be our 1st cruise. I worked at Hollywood Studios for many years, back in the day... I am so excited to be able to share this experience with my kids and just heard about the fish exchange and we want to join in the fun!!! It will be me and my hubby, Bryan and our two kids Austin (10) and Tyler (8).
My family has two rooms on deck 9 but only one room will be participating.
Can't wait for all the fun!!!

Hi! We are super excited to be on this cruise. We have never cruised Disney. My friend told me about Fish Extenders, we would definitely like to participate!! I am an avid "run disney" fan. Just ran the marathon this past January for the second time and hope to do the Castaway challenge at some point. There will be 4 of us cruising...me and my husband (40+) and 2 boys (7 and 9).

Hi Jaime...I haven't seen any FE group started here yet. This is our first Disney cruise so not really sure about how to find/get into FE group for our cruise. You said you joined one on FB? What did you search on to find on FB? Thanks!!

Booked our Palo Dinner and Brunch last night. Also booked the Good Hope great House tour in Jamaica. We've been to Cozumel and Grand Cayman enough times that we are just planning on shopping in the ports this time.

I have participated in a couple of fish extender groups. I will be more than happy to organize the list for this group and keep it updated if needed. Since we are only a few months away...if we are going to do one...we need to start now. Please let me know if interested. If you are; and want to keep your contact info private...please send me a message with your email address and information. I need to know cabin number; first name and age of each participant; any allergies and favorite character. I cannot believe how quickly the time has flown !! I just looked at my calendar and realized that our cruise is just a few months away.

(1) YES we need to get moving on Fish Extender. The ones I've participated in for past cruises have usually closed about a month before the cruise (to provide time to get the FE items together), so we definitely do need to move forward on that. Stnkrbell3 you indicated you would like to organize FE. I say go for it! Please count in my cabin of three people:
Me, my husband, and my son (age 13). I will also send you an email privately with the information you request.

(2) On our last cruise (Mediterranean) I organized a private mixology class for our DIS board group. It was a super hit! Sold out and was a lot of fun -- great way to meet up and of course Disney does a great class (and no fighting to get in the other classes). My husband has specifically asked to do it again. If there is enough interest I'm willing to organize this. I believe last time we need a minimum of 12 or 15 people, and a maximum of 30. There was a cost involved as well. Either respond to me here or send an email to sarahste@yahoo.com if you are interested in the mixology class.

(3) Do we want to plan a meet-up on the ship, ideally on the first day?

If you are interested there is another social media group who I'm not allowed to name here - they already have 2 or 3 mixology groups booked as well as a FE started. I don't know if you want to separate from them but if someone has already taken the lead.
