How crowded do you estimate this weekend to be? I'm hoping its still before summer break

I'd be curious to know that too, since i will be there that weekend.

We will actually be there that weekend as well. Not sure if we will go to the parks but we will be at the resort. Can't wait!

I'm hoping it will be slow for that weekend too. I will arrive on Thursday, which means they will close early that night for Grad Night. If anyone has experience with crowds this time of year, I'm sure we will all be extremely grateful.

I know that weekends in general are busy. Hopefully since this will be in between the promotion that ended in April and before the opening of Pirates, we will miss quite a bit of the crowds.

We arrive Sunday the 11th, and I am anticipating large crowds on that day just because I haven't been recently on a Sunday that wasn't busy. Thank goodness we are there Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday so I don't have to worry about getting TOO much done Sunday.

Here's good luck and Pixie Dust to all of us that will be there that day!

We arrive on Saturday as well and will be staying until Tuesday. I am really hoping we are beating the rush. My 16 month old isn't the most patient guy in the world when it comes to lines. :rotfl2:

Wow there will be a lot of us there at the same time, is that a bad sign?? ;)

Where is everyone else staying? We are one night at the Tropicana, then two nights at the Grand! Sunday was an add on at the last minute. Not planning much and we are heading out to meet family for dinner, so we will really only be in the parks Sunday from 11-3 and then from 8-12.

I am excited to see and eat at the new table service where Cafe Orleans was. Hope it's a good menu!

 We will be checking into the Grand Californian on the 11th :teeth: We are planning to just swim and go to Downtown Disney on the 11th then tour the parks on the 12,13 and 14. We are very excited for our first trip to Disneyland :teeth:

Is it Grad night on June 8? Is this a good day to stay away from the parks because of the crowds? Any other grad nights between the 5th and the 12th? Haven't been in years. Just wondering if the parks were more crowded on days where there is a grad night. We will be staying at the Disneyland Hotel for 7 nights. Haven't been there in years. I hear I won't recognize the place. :)

Grad Nite is just that Thurs nite. It occurs on Thursdays in May and June. I did see on the website, www.disneylandgradnite.com that they will offer multi-day tickets so it could effect other days too if school is out. See the site for details.

The next grad night after the 8th is the 14th, that is the only one that is on a Wednesday!

How exciting! Disneyland is awesome (I may be biased!) and you will love love love the Grand, I know I do! We will be at the pool a lot on the 13th, it is our 8th anniversary and we are gonna do a bit of pool time since the hours are so long! It will be me, DH, DD5, DD almost 3, and DS 7 months! How old are your little ones? DD5 is a great swimmer and can't wait to hit the slides (the other times we have stayed at the Grand have been at Christmas and it was too cold!)

Since Grad nite is on the 14th and 15th, will there be any EEs between June 14 and June 16th? I am guessing that there will NOT be an EE on Thur. the 15th due to Grad Nite on the 14th. Might there be an EE on Wed to compensate (but then there would be EE 3 days in a row)? We will be there the 14th - 16th.

I know in the northern part of California (San Jose area) that we are not out till the 15th or 16th - so may be a good time to visit. Not sure about southern California, but would expect similiar

We are also near the bay area and our kids get out of school on 6/8. We are coming to DL on the 9th, staying for days and days-lol-at the DLH!! :cool1:

We will be there June 13. Unfortunately we only get the one day due to family obligations. But hey, we are at least able to go!!!

We have been to Disneyland 4 times since 1998. WE usually use my DVC points to stay. We usually stay at the DLH because it is closer than PP and costs less points than GC. We have stayed at all of the hotels and like them all, but PP is just too far to walk. The GC is very close to the parks , of course but we stayed there in Oct 2001 overlooking DTD. Great room and view, but once inside the hotel, it was a long walk from the elevators. DLH seems just easier to manage I guess.

This is the first trip where we are trying to go a little cheaper and staying off property. We will stay at the Best Western Anaheim Inn. I know it is close to the park entrances, probably closer than DLH. I'm not sure what to expect but we will give it a try. We don't use the pools, because we are always in the parks.

We will be there from June 8 leaving late June 12 to fly back to Atlanta. If anyone has experience with the Best Western Anaheim Inn, please let me know. We got a great rate at $80. As long as it is clean, I'm sure we will be fine!
