I bought my DGD a crown and some sequined pink Aurora slippers yesterday at DL to go with her Aurora dress that Sandy let us borrow for Formal Night.

For anyone who needs it, I have a size 4 really cute girls pirate dress for Pirate Night that I had bought for my DGD, (it's too small). It's brand new! Would anyone like to bring it along?

Less than 48 hours before we leave! AAAh. Not finished packing yet. Am trying for 5 medium suitcases for 5 people (2 adults, 3 kids), do you think that's too much? We're also going to DL for a week.

Also, do you think we need to take jeans and sneakers for our DL stint? Will shorts and sandals be enough?

I always being sneakers, even for the cruise. When I do allot of walking I can't walk in sandles. My feet hurt. But that is just me. I can see how that suitcase thing would be hard, with going to DL for a week.

It really can be comical to watch us prep for a trip - or then again find out what we forgot. I'm nortorious for leaving at least 1 thing behind and realizing on the plane that I left it - too late to do anything about it. One time it was a whole weekend's worth of concert tickets - 3 shows - luckly we went early and could have a friend get them and fedex them to us.

So, having learned some lessons, I do have a list to refer to - it's just making the time to get it done. Meanwhile, I'm still at the computer...

I forget to! I did that jsut this past weekend. We left to go get my mom we were a 1/4 of the way there and my DH goes were are the clothes for Graduation? I went on the door in the house. SO we had to go back. We are getting ready to pull out of the drive and I go what about the air?

Needles to say Dh was ready to shoot me.
I am hopeing that if I forget something for the cruise that I remember on Saturday when we get there so I could go get it.

Has anyone used att cellular for phone service on board... reasonable, or not ? ? I see the online internet charges are NOT so reasonable, so want to figure out the best way for all 3 kids to communicate with their sweeties.

My DS graduated college this past Saturday.

Cell phones do not work most of the time on the cruise. If you are near a port they may or may not work.

Sandysplayhouse is in charge of the list for the fish extenders.

**Scrapbook Exchange - Paper, stickers, emblishments like clips, buttons, yarn, ribbon, and some really cool things that were especially made by the scrapper for our cruise for scrapbooking. I tell you, some people are VERY talented (not me) but we had fun chatting and looking at other peoples pages and got lots of ideas from everyone. You bring 5 you take 5 etc.

*Fish Extenders – We will be putting little things in them through out the cruise. Like, Paper, Pencils, stickers, etc. To do this we can use the list that Sandy will compile for the Mickey door magnet.

Fish Extender Gifts - This can be EVERY day or you pick a day to distribute all your gifts. There really is no set rule for gift-giving, it is up to you as to what and how much you want to give... each to their own accord. Right now there are not many DISers that have signed up so the roster is quite small... so we could do it everyday... if there are many more that sign up, then we could do it all on one day and just lump our gifts in the Extenders on whatever day you choose. Bear in mind that it is a lot of fun to find something in your extender EVERY day.

I have Lime greenish pants and a white top with Lime green mickey on it and a lime green visor and lime green flipflops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Glad you decided to join us. We are all going to have a great time. Please give me your room number for the fish extender and door tag game. Be sure to wear Lime Green on boarding day and on Monday for the DIS meet. I am making name tags for anyone that wants them, Would you like matching Name Tags for your lanyards? Just let me know the names and which direction your lanyard pouch goes.



We ALWAYS forget stuff too... and not just something little, big things...
the first trip out in 2005, we got as far as the corner and had to turn back... DH forgot his sunglasses...
then we drove off and got 2 blocks further away and realized that we had not turned on the alarm...
Finally, we are driving off again and laughing about how we keep forgetting things when we remembered something else and had to go back AGAIN!...
Finally we are on the I-5 and we make it to San Pedro and into our hotel for the night... in the morning, DH realizes he left his medication at home in Oceanside... over an hour away!
After a quick call to a friend, she drives up to LA and thankfully brings it to him...
... I wonder what we will forget this time?!?...

And Lynn, the weather is May Gray for now.. and it is gloomy and quite cool... June is June Gloom and is still gloomy and cool.. the sun eventually does come out, but not until the afternoon and then things warm up a bit, but not enough to where you would call it hot, but who cares, we are on VACATION!!!
OK.. enough of the weather...

Okay i have just finished takin gout all my stauff from my suitcases and repacking making sure everything is good!

NOW when i was about finished Dh came in to "HELP" and he wanted to add this and add that and add the other so now i have had to add another suit case to the mix!

I didnt want to but finally relented just too tired to fight it!

He is the one who willhave to lug most of it into the airport etc............

But i am 98 % done just have a small list for tomorrow and i will be complete!

My last day off before we leave!!!!

WOW can you believe it............We are almost there!
I know some of you guys have been waiting a long time for this!

I just have a small list to do taoday and then i will be completely ready.

I have 20 bags of FE items, sorry if soemone gets left out i stopped at 20 so if you happen to be a group with no kids that is the ones i willleave off first if i dont have enough! But i was thinking the last count was 19.

OH6 are you packed yet?????????
