June 1, 2008 7-Night Mexican Riviera Cruise All Aboard is now back on Land

With our cruise being only a few months away, you would think there would be more people on this thread... I'm a wondering where is everyone? :confused3 Is the ship full of NON-DIS people? So far we only have a dozen families. :grouphug: But we are the BEST ones! :cheer2:

OH MY Gosh Flo....
I thought it was cold here, but your temps are rediculous... :scared1:
It was 35 degrees this morning with our high today was 73. I guess it really was NOT cold here after all... Geez... how do you get anything done in temps like that? Do your pipes freeze and all that? Do you have water and everything? I think I would just sit in a bundle under a pile of blankets. LOL :rotfl: Take care of yourself and STAY inside. Cook up some popcorn popcorn:: and catch up on your TV shows

I did not even go out yesterdy. This morning as I am typing this is is already 7 below. But that is normal here. Yes, some people have there pips freeze. We are lucy that has not happen to us. DH wentto the store yesterday and he said it was crowed. We needed milke and wanted ship for dinner. Yod do not stay out side long because you could get frost bite on areas that are not covered. We usualy have a few days likethis every winter. Also, if your car is parked outside you had better star it or it will not start. I even start mine in the garage just because. I say better safe ten sorry. My dog does not understand that she can not stay outside. She looks at us when we call her in. But this weather can hurt them to.
Ths is why I told DH that when we retire I want to go to Florida.:)

Take care

Hi! I am new here, can I join? I sort of forgot we were taking this cruise! This will be our 4th Disney Cruise, 2 Eastern Carribbean and 1 Western Carribean already under our belt. We booked this last year March when we were on our Eastern cruise.

I am so used to the Carribean itineraries that when I got my travel kit today, I was a bit lost. So I need HEEEELLLLLPPPP!!!

* Anyone know anything about these excursions?
* We are going to fly in on Friday night and spend Saturday in LA. Any good tips for places to stay
* Any fun Hollywood tours we can take?
* I didnt book transportation to the port? Any ideas for that?
* Anyone know the theme night schedule?

Shoot - June seems too far away to be thinking about this but I guess we are only about 5 weeks away from being able to book stuff!

Hello, everyone!

Better late than never... I hope!

My family will be joining you on this cruise. It is our first West Coast cruise but our 3rd DCL cruise. We live near Atlanta and take an annual trip to WDW. The kids will be 5, 7, and 9 at the time of our cruise. We're staying in a midship Cat 3 and my in-laws will be in the Cat 3 next door.

My kids know all about the cruise but they don't know that we're staying at the Disneyland Hotel for 4 nights before we set sail. :cloud9: We visited DLP back in Oct '05 and we absolutely loved it. I cannot wait to ride Space Mountain again. :cool1:

I am trying my figure out the best way to travel from airport --> DLH --> Port of LA --> airport. I haven't bought airline tix yet but I think we'll fly into John Wayne. Does anyone have suggestions?

It seems like we booked this trip so long ago yet somehow this cruise is getting pretty close. YAY!

Have people received travel kits yet? I haven't received anything? Am I the only one? I transferred my res to Dreams Unlimited this time, and I admit, I feel nervous about it.

Reassure me please!

Ok I don't think I am meant to post here! I have tried to post three times now and it just isn't sticking! With my luck, all three will show up at once and you all will think I am physcho!

Ok I have a million questions because I can't find sqwat about this itinerary. So let me start with the 1st one and see what you all think.

I want to come to LA on Friday and spend Saturday sightseeing, therefore, I do NOT want to stay at the port. What hotels are good for 2 nights in LA?

I want to take a Hollywood type tour on Saturday. Any suggestions?

And what about getting transportation to the port. Any good ideals or should we just stick with Disney transportation? We always took a limo from PC.

THOUGHTS?
