jumpers in the evenings ?????

as an orlando virgin travelling on friday for 2 weeks who is used to the fine english weather ????? do i need jumpers in the evenings or am i being a soft northerner ??

we usually go this time of year and only 1 night did we need sweatshirts...(DH thinks it was an excuse for me to shop!! Who needs excuses!!) I think it was a late night Spectro night and it chilled down. So I don't think you will need jumpers, certainly not for the majority of your hols

We always keep a sweatshirt each in the car boot just in case. When we went last October we only needed them a couple of times in the evening but in October 2001 we needed them in the daytime as well! I sometimes put one on in the evenings when we are eating as the air conditioning is sometimes quite cold.

Through to the beginning of October the nightly low is 72f so a sweater would probably not be required.
However,if you feel it cold in some air conditioned areas then maybe you should.

Last year i came back on the 15th sept and although we did take a jumper with us (and bought a whole load more out there) we never used them once. It was baking the whole time and it didn't seem like it was getting cooler towards the end either.

in oct 2000 we were caought unawares by the chill in the morning, we usually go sept where the warmth envelopes you straight away,so we bought some zip up hoodies, this yr we will go prepared

One tip (if you have kids, or for anyone who does).

We found that our DDs got quite chilly in restauarnts in just their T shirts. All Restaurants are VERY air conditioned, and we invested in a couple of sweatshirts that we (meaning I) carried around.

They were used nearly every meal time.

It's therefore much easier and cheaper to leave the kids at home
