So our return flight for our upcoming trip to wdw just went down $98 each, so now we have credits from southwest to use by 11/2016. Would like to go somewhere in July for 4-5 nights. Don't want to spend a lot. Would like to keep the. Airfare under $1000 for the five of us. Would only like to spend $3000 total. It will he me, dh, ds 10, dd 9, ds7. We are flying out of Pittsburgh. We do have a beach trip planned to wildwood nj for August for a few nights, but still would consider beach for the July trip as well.

Go West!

Fly into Denver, Albuquerque, Reno, Rapid City, Jackson Hole, etc. Rent a car & see the sights!!

Somewhere I loved when I visited some years ago (too many) where Southwest seems to fly direct from Pburgh to for under $200...how about a Dallas/Fort Worth/Arlington Texas vacation? We did the Stockyards http://stockyardsstation.com/, saw a Texas Rangers baseball game, had some amazing BBQ, and went to Six Flags (we were there a weekend), but there's much, much more to do:)...it might be a vacation right in your kids' sweet spot. And it definitely will feel like a "new" vacation spot (and it won't be a beach:)...

I was thinking about Denver since I can fly nonstop and have never been to rocky mtn national park.Dh doesn't seemed thrilled about Denver for some reasons.mhe was interested in Salt Lake City. Thinking might be hot there in July though? Another thought I had was to flying I San Jose and see the redwood so and San Fran. Or Maine, have never been there either.
