Friday 15th July 2005-this is our second trip to disney

:cool1:
we travel with travel city direct on a sunshine first flight. the seats are huge and the entertainment is wicked.
we arrive at the villa in Kissimee which is great and go and get some food from a local supermarket.

Saturday 16th July 2005

we get up and head straight for the magic kingdom it is some time before midday and is really hot and really busy. the monorail was quite packed full.
the first ride is pirates of the carribean and the queue was only ten minutes which was good.
we also walked straight into the enchanted tiki room.
in tommorow land the carousel of progress was a twenty minute wait.
space mountain was a 30 minute wait but turned out to be longer, so far we had not used fast pass.
Lunch was at peco Bills in frontierland, the queues were huge but we managed to find a seat.
we decided to queue up for the haunted mansion which was about thirty minute wait. this was a good ride.
we also walked stright onto the express train that goes around tommorowland.
that night we went outside of disney to logans road house in kissimee and had a great meal.

Sunday 17th July 2005

today we decided to hit MGM Studios. it was a little less busy here than magic kingdom.
we went to muppet vision 3D and had a twelve minute wait.
the Indiana jones stunt show we fast pass and had good seats, the show was great.
we did not fast pass the backlot tour and only queued for 30 minutes at the longest.
after that we managed to walk straight into the Lights motor action stunt show which was brilliant. everyone will love this. it was excellent.
we also did the great movie ride, this was quite a long wait, but it was good.

Monday 18th July 2005

today we decided to hit Typhoon Lagoon. it was very busy but we did manage to get a changing room but they had ran out of large lockers.
that evening we went to epcot and watched the fireworks, it was nicer at night because it was cool and less crowded and the lake looked nice lit up, however it was a race to get out before all of the crowds!
:rotfl2:

Tuesday 19th July 2005

before i carry on incase anybody did not know, you have to pay 8 dollars to park in disney for each park except the water parks, however once you buy a ticket it last all day at any of the parks.

today we did not go into disney. i think it was good that we had a break.

wednesday 20th July 2005

today we decided to get up and out early to go to the animal kingdom so that we would be able to the animals on the safari, we left early but there was quite a bit of traffic.
we got there and ffast passed straight away the rapid ride and then we headed for the safari, the queue said twenty minutes but it turned out to be 40!
anyway the safari was great and we saw most animals.
the tree of life with a bugs life had a ten minute queue which was great.
that evening we went back to MGM studios to try and watched fantasmic, but we got there half an hour before and it was already full and everyone was already seated!!!

Thursday 21st July 2005

today was Islands of adventure, this was probably the busiest park we have ever seen. we did NO rides.
all the fast passes had ran out early in the morning and some of the rides were broken down beasue of the heat and the volume of people riding them!
so we decided to go next door to universal studios, it was a BIT less crowded and manages to walk onto Twister, and we had a half hour wait for Back to the future and Jaws and we fast passed earthquake which was excellent!

Friday 22nd July 2005

today we went back to the magic kingdom. we fast passed thunder mountain which was a seventy minute wait in stand by and we only had to wait for ten!!
we were here in the evening so the queues had died down.
we walked straight onto the jungle cruise which was great at night.
stitchs great escape said a twenty minute wait but turned out to be longer and out of the whole trip this was the most disappointing ride. we were angry for the first time on the trip becasue we had waited for so ling and were told it was a good ride but it wasnt . i would not waste you time or energy queuing for it.

:wave2:

we queued for thirty minutes for the railrroad but that was nice when we were on it.

saturday 23rd july 2005

we went to epcot for the day.it was the evening so the quese were short. we walked straight onto spaceship earth and the living seas and we looked around the world showcase until closing.

sunday 24th july 2005

today we went back to universal studios and waited only ten minutes for shrek 4D which was excellent. i would recommend it. we had got here at nine am so it was a bit quieter.
we then went back next door to IOA and did popeyes rapids which was a ten minute wait and ws great we got soaked through!!!

monday 25yj july 2005

at nine am we rolled up to the gates of epcot ready to pay our 8 dollars parking fee and the queue took twenty minutes to get through!!
anyway we and fastpass soarin; as the queue was 60 minutes stand by at nine thirty!
we went and queued for thirty minutes for test track which was a great ride.

we then made our way to blizzard beach, we were there in the evening so we did the family raft ride twice straight after we had just got off, there was no queue. :earseek:

tuesday 26th july 2005

today we did no disney but watched the space shuttle take off and drove to the gulf of mexico.

wednesday 27th july 2005

today we went back to typhoon lagoon, when we were driving there was a a sign saying that both water parks had closed becasue they were full to their capacity, and that they would re open at two o clock, by this time it was three so we were ok. it was a bit busy but we had a great time.

thursday 28th 2005

for our last full day we went back to the magic kingdom in the afternoon.
again we walked staright onto pirates of the carribean, we fastpassed thunder mountain but it broke down at the top but soon started again!
we queued 15 minutes for it's a small world and then fast passed splash mountain, but this also broke down but started up again. also we did the liberty bell steam boat.
we ate dinner at peco bills again and watched the wishes fireworlks and then it was a race to get out!!

overall we ahd a great time. the villa was great and so was the flight. travel city are great and this is the second time that we used them.
even though it was hot and crowded we still had a great time.

cant wait until the next time we go!!!
thanks for reading and if anyone has any questions then please ask me!! :teeth: :flower:

Great report tink. Shame everywhere was busy - you're not the first person to say that about Stich so we may bypass this one if the wait is too long in September.

hiya

great report, could you tell me some more about sunshine first, seats food etc?

we have booked sunshine first for our trip in december and dont know what to expect

thanks anna

heres details for sunshine first:

52 inch seat pitchs which was great and foot rest.
as soon as we got on the plane you get free champagne or orange juice and your choice of newspaper.
a menu comes around and you pick from a selection of food- very tasty!
they pass around a box of chocolates so you can pick one.
you have a blanket, pillow, bottle of water, toothbrush, toothpaste, pen, eye patch for night time all in a nice zip up case.
you get your own portable touch screen computer with up to date films, tv shows, music, music videos and games. the battery lasts about 5 hours and then they give you a new one!!
it was great and really relaxed you. free drinks are constantly given to you.
i would recommend it to anybody.
you also get a different check in line so there is less of a queue as there are only 22 seats in sunshine first. you also get to board the plane first and get off.

hope this has helped!! :teeth:

thanx

does your luggage also come off first (dreaming lol)? mines always last

no it didn't we had to wait like everyone and it came off quite late. probably becasuse we checked in quite early.

hoped it has helped and have fun on your flight :teeth:

hiya

thanx for answering my questions, waiting for the luggage is my most panicked about thing I always think it isnt coming

lol! just make sure that you let nobody push in front of you when you are queuing! thar is the most annoying!
try and make your bag stand out by taping brightly coloured tape around it so that it stands out!

:rotfl2:

Enjoyed your trippie. We were there at the same time as yourselves though only on 24th Universal Day did our paths cross. We found if you got to the parks before they opened you could get all the rides done in the first couple of hours, and get fp's, before the crowds came in.

We also hit BB at about tea time a couple of times and there weren't any problems with lines or getting a tube for the lazy creek, most people were leaving the park at this time.

Hi Tink will agree with your stitch comment, thought it was a complete waste of time although as my DS is a huge fan we'll be forced to do it again this year! oh well, grin and bear it I guess, nothing in Disney is THAT bad
