During a visit to Paris, we have booked two nights - 3 days at DLP staying at the NPB. Arriving Wednesday 11th staying Weds and Thurs., going back to Paris early evening on the Friday.

We have the half board Plus dining package (although not totally sure how this works!!!) I presume it is just for the two days we are actually staying.

Therefore, I need to book two meals, probably late afternoon, but between parades if possible, is 5.00pm a bad time?, do they do dinner this early?

I definately would like to do Blue Lagoon, but then would like a character meal too. I thought about Cafe Mickey, (our dd is 7), but have heard that it isn't so good and my otherhalf does like his food!!! Alternatively the one in the Studios with Remy, although this looks a bit canteenish and we could do this on the Friday before we return into Paris, as I read they have a set meal for 23euros.

Does the NPB have character meals? How about Inventions at DLH is that worth a try? and do we have to pay extra with the Half board plus in some places, or is there always a menu for it?

Any help, advice, experiences, would be appreciated. Oh and where do I phone to book tables?

Many thanks

Bumping to see if anyone can help!!

I think I probably need to book as soon as possible, I have gone through the Restaurant threads, but a lot haven't been updated recently.....Just waiting :rolleyes1

Hi.

You'll get a voucher for each night you're there, so if you've booked 2 nights, it'll be 2 vouchers per person.

5pm is a really good time to eat, as it's usually less busy. A lot of people wait until after the parade (7pm) so it's generally a bit quieter. Blue Lagoon is lovely, I definitely recommend this :thumbsup2

I think for a first character meal, Cafe Mickey is ideal. We've been many times. The food is not as good as you'd get in the likes of Walts or Blue Lagoon, but is nice enough and you should see some characters to keep your dd happy. I'd suggest booking a table for about 6pm here. Inventions is an option, but you'd need to add quite a bit to the price and the buffet seems to include a lot of fish, which has put me off.

No character meals at NPB. Another one to look for is Auberge, which is princess themed. Again, you'd need to add some money to this, but if your dd loves princess' then she'd be in heaven :cloud9:

Have a look at the restaurant review thread to give you an idea. To book if calling from the UK dial 00 33 1 60 30 40 50. There is an option to speak English and the CM's are all very nice. You don't need to pay when you call, you're simply reserving a table. You can always change it later at your hotel concierge, at City Hall or by popping into the restaurant.

Hope this helps :goodvibes

We have enjoyed cafe mickey in the past and found inventions fine too which we tried for the first time on our last trip. You would be able to eat free at cafe mickey but would have to add quite a few euros to eat at inventions. The characters don't come out until 6pm at cafe mickey so you wouldn't want to book a table before then.:goodvibes

Thank you, that has really helped, especially the phone number. I wondered what happened with the Dining Plan at the more expensive restaurants.

:thumbsup2
