July Rental Codes?

National codes are only available through 6/28, according to mousesavers.com. I currently am holding a 10-day ressie for full size SUV for $435.(using general contract ID 6600330)..but would like to try and get it under $400...anyone know of when/if July-specific codes will be coming out to use? THANKS!

The best code I found was BB45 with Dollar - you could also try Hotwire or Priceline. I am trying to get a better rate myself!

Try thrifty
We're going for 10 nights in August and the rates were HORRIBLE from the usual rental agencies. Was going to give up (looking at $350 to $450 for midsize). Then tried on whim for Thrifty after checking out Hotwire and Expedia (I think) got a rate of $254 inc. taxes and fees.. can't beat that and now I don't have to worry or play a game of taking rental for weekend dates and then turning car in for a few days and then renting again (since we have family commitments outside of touring the parks).

I think the closer you get to July the better the rates are. We leave this Friday and Sunday night I got a quote of $134 for a full size car through National. We have the car for 8 days 22 hours. I got a code and coupon with mousesavers. Just keep trying...I think I had 5-6 reservations that I cancelled in the past three months.

Thanks for bringing this topic up. We are also looking for a rental car for our trip and the rates we have found so far are almost double what we got last year. I think we'll just keep checking until time to go and hopefully we'll get lucky.

We'd about given up too, but I kept checking. I got a mini van through Thrify using mousesaver codes with tax and fees for under $200, I think my rate was around $151. I was finding $400-600 everywhere else. I keep checking back periodically but so far that is the best I found since booking. Also, if you find something good snap it up, it might not be there for long, I swear I found a rate for $131 somewhere, didn't book and went and told my DH about it, came back later and it was gone. Most places let you cancel if you need.

This made me look at the calendar and I just noticed, we leave in 16 days!

With only 5 days left...I'm still waiting to see if any 'coupon' codes will be available for July rentals on full SUV. I currently have a ressie through National for our arrival on July 2...however, the mouseaver codes are only listed through June 28....was wandering if there's any chance of additional coupon/discount codes come out this week, before our visit? Anyone know?

They have a sale but it's for August 21 to 12/15. They skip the month of July!!!!!!!!!!!!! Guess I will go with different car rental company.

Yep, July people have been dissed! But you know what? I am not finding anything to beat the rate I already have with National. I'll keep checking though...

i just booked a full size SUV with National for 8 days (july 24 - Aug 1) for $297.47 using only the priceless code. It wouldn't let me use the entertainment coupon. All of the other prices for cars where higher than this, at least for the size that I needed (2 adults 3 kids and luggage). I hope this helps someone because I haven't found anything better. Plus it is with National and they are great.
