July park hours

I've been looking at the July park hours and see that MK is scheduled to close at 10pm. REALLY?? I haven't been in the summer in awhile but I remember parade at 9, fireworks at 10, parade at 11, park closing at midnight. I know there is currently no evening parade, but will they really close MK this early in July? Heck, I can remember being in the MK for EMH, leaving at 3am in the summer! Does anyone think that July hours will be extended, and the fireworks later than currently scheduled?

I was hoping that June hours would be extended. The latest MK is open when I am there is 11PM with magic hours until 1AM (Once). I am with you - I remember the days of closing it down at 3AM!! I wish they would stay open longer!!

June hours were just updated a couple of days ago through July 4. In about 4 weeks the July hours very likely will be too.

I was hoping that June hours would be extended. The latest MK is open when I am there is 11PM with magic hours until 1AM (Once). I am with you - I remember the days of closing it down at 3AM!! I wish they would stay open longer!!

I think July last year closed at 10 or 11. You can search last year's hours though.

Last year, June closed at 11 or 12. This year it is 10 or 11.

AK is open late every night, at least until July 4th, so I'm wondering if Disney is just giving AK more love right now bc of Pandora.

I'm sure it will change, it always does. We were there the past two summers between mid-June and mid-July, and I don't ever recall it closing before 11pm. Not impossible it stays 10pm, but if I were in Vegas, my money would be on it changing.

There has definitely been a trend the last few years for the parks to close earlier than in the past.
I'm a little bummed about this because I have so many great late night memories.

They've been ever so gradually tapering down the hours. That said, they might extend closing to 11pm as July approaches. But midnight is unlikely (didn't happen last July) and EMH until 3am are a thing of the past, unfortunately.

Sure hope they extend the hours for July at MK until at least 11 pm. 10 just seems so early for summer.

I have had the park hours change the week before, and sometimes I have found out when I arrived at my resort when being handed the park schedule from a CM. One time, I was shocked, because I had just looked and double checked my schedule like 2 days prior. Just keep an eye on it. The park hours for my trip at the end of this month and June changed about 2 weeks ago if I remember correctly.
