July Pal Mickey Swap...any plans yet?

Is the July Pal Mickey swap all set? I know I have it from July 6th to July 10th, on Southern4sure's list. Anyone else?

I'm not sure of the status of the swap, but I think that I would be hooking up with you. I have 7/10 - 7/15 on the list. I think that there may be some gaps in there that haven't been filled. The most recent post by Southern4Sure mentions the dates:

• July 1-5
• July 16 - 18
• July 25 - 26

Any takers? If so, PM Southern4Sure so that she can get the dates together.

Hey! that would be good. That's our arrival day, I will try to make it work. We don't have airline ressies yet but we have ressies for Hoop Dee Doo that night so I'm hoping that we get in to Orlando around 1:00 or so.

starts in mid-July.... I will be there 15-25 July and I know a few others are staying until the 28th or 30th. So let me know the details for being a sitter! We'll see what we can do to help!

How does this work? Is there a charge for it? We will be there from July 25 to July 30. Thanks.

Pal Mickey costs $60 to purchase. Southern4Sure will be collecting everyone's share in the form of a money order. Each person's share is based on how many participants we have and how many days the individual will be taking PM. If we fill all our days in July, the cost would be $2 per day.

Southern4Sure will then combine the funds and send them to the first DISer for the July list. That would be Aisling right now, unless we get someone who will be there the first few days in July to sign up. Aisling will purchase PM and use him until the swap date with me. It is up to me and Aisling to decide on a time and place to make that swap.

I will then pass PM on to the next person on the list. Hopefully one of the Sigma Delta girls will be interested in taking him. The swap continues all during July until the last DISer gets PM. The last July DISer has the responsibility of getting PM to Give Kids the World, a resort for sick children and their families who are visiting WDW thru the kindness and generosity of organizations like Make-a-Wish. PM will then be used by those families while visiting the parks.

We still need to resolve issues about how PM will be cleaned between families and what to do about battery replacement when they eventually wear down. Hopefully the people from the May and June swaps will have tips to offer from their own experiences.

If you're interested in joining us, send a PM (that's private message, not a Pal Mickey!) to Southern4Sure. She'll be able to put you name on the list and tell you who to make contact with regarding the swap.

We arrive in Orlando extremely late July 30. The current plan is to be at the HIFS until Sunday Aug. 1 Then we move to Marriott Grand Vista for a week, and then Sunday the 8th we transfer to Vistana for a week. We are only at the Disney parks the 9th (Monday) through the 13th (Friday), for four days (a park each day)

So I am avialable to pick up Mickey and babysit, but don't actually need him until later (we are at a family reunion, but not doing Disney stuff that week except water parks)

If you're willing, you can take PM from me on 7/15 and then get him to Naisy68 on 7/18. That would help bridge the gap between the beginning and end of July.
