July or August!!!

DH and I usually go in March or October. We're planning a family trip for next year for about 12 - 15 people. We have students and teachers from a couple of different states so it's a challenge to coordinate vacations. It looks like July (18-23) or August (15-20). I've never been in the summer. Which month would be better, and why (weather, crowds, anything else you can think of)?

They are both going to be very hot and rainy but I would pick August because the kids start to go back to school in FL the middle of August so the parks may not be too busy

I vote for August. You'll get the same park hours but pay value season rates. TYour August dates fall during the time they are offering free dining to UK visitors. Hopefully they'll offer free dining to us soon.

both hot and crowded but since some schools start in aug i would pick august. july is right in the middle of summer and everyone is off.

We did July last year and August this year. August seemed a bit less crowded. The dates we did this year were 7/28/06-8/13/06. I would never hesitate to do July or August. In fact we are going back next year during July.
