I have been throwing thing in a suitcase for a while now, but decided with the trip only 19 days away, I need to get a little serious here!!! What are you taking besides the regular stuff like shorts, tshirts, etc..

I am taking some sunscreen wipes because they will fit easily in the waistpack. Don't forget the moleskin.
Bug repelent for evenings at the hotel (AKL)

Anything else I am missing? This is going to be a "No pack mule Mommy" trip, which means, if I can't fit it in the waist pack, it isn't going to the park trip!

I haven't started packing my stuff yet, but my mom and sis have theirs done already. I've got the mole skin, band aid's, a small bottle of sunscreen, and cash in my camera backpack that I will carry in the park.

We started getting the lists together (what to take, what to buy, and what to order food wise) plus bought many of the odds and ends "kiddie bribery" but nothing really is put in suitcases yet. We have started a temporary staging ground (hidden of course), but we know if we start too soon with the suitcases, the kids will figure out a way to remove it all :rolleyes1

I could see getting to WDW and not having any underwear :rotfl: Thanks to my kids of course.

Not really packing but the DD and I did go through the disney tote to see what we needed to purchase and we made a trip to the dollar store for more ponchos. I won't actually pack until the week we are leaving, but everything is gathered in one spot.

I've definitely started making my lists (i'm an extensive list-maker), and putting some of the little stuff like sunscreen, band aids, moleskin in my spare bedroom. However, no heavy packing quite yet.

I'll tell you what....I really need to buy some new clothes before I even start to think of packing. The good news is I've lost 30 pounds since my last trip....the bad news is, I have no shorts left to wear!

A silly question - what's a moleskin?
on the pack it say's "known worldwide for it's effective cushioning properties, Moleskin Plus is soft, cotton flannel padding hat protects feet from painful shoe friction. *helps prevent blisters * soft smooth padding * self stick adhesive that you cut to the size you need.

Not yet....but I'm gonna start this week. Starting to buy things needed for trip and started making lists.

17 days out and slowly packing here ... mainly rain gear (always packed just in case), new clothes we're saving specifically for WDW and toiletries.

Of course, have a running list of what needs to be packed, so that's a start! I'll be doing laundry for some items the day before we leave!

We leave in 9 days so I started packing. Packed the boxes for shipping (costumes, tinkerbelle gifts etc.). Packed one suitcase for our two nights at the Nick hotel and just started packing our DIsney bags. Using the zip loc bag method, I just love that one. Besides clothes I have packed, - disposable cameras, shout wipes, anti bacterial wipes, kids flusable wipes, goggles for pool, new toothbrushes, sunscreen, extra sunglasses for kids, new sippy cups, and band aids. Of course I'm only about half way done. BUt I love that I've started because that means I'm getting closer!

I've been throwing a few things in a bag as I get them. I've also have a pile of clothes that were bought for the trip that are ready to go.

For now though, I've got to pack for my trip to Vegas over the 4th of July first. Then when I get back it will be full steam ahead getting ready for Disney!!

Its less than a month now! Woo hoo!

What a coincidence to see this thread today :teeth: We just got back from the mall to buy our Park tickets at the Disney Store, and on the way back I told my DH that I'm going to get our suitcases out soon and start packing! Our trip is in 16 days and usually I pack the night before, but for some reason, this time I want everything packed in advance.

I already have mule skin from previous trips, and I have a big zip-lock bag that I use whenever I travel that contains bandaids, Tylenol, Advil, anti-diarrhea medication (just in case!), chewable Pepto-Bismal, small bottles of bug repellent, etc., and of course sun screen.

It's getting really exciting now that our trip is just over 2 weeks away!! :sunny: :goodvibes :flower: :teeth: :earboy2:

I've got all my lists ready (More or less just re-using lists from previous years, adding the few items that I missed last year).

I've also started washing and packing items that I know for sure we won't be using before leaving in 27 days...

This is a very busy time for me at work (:teacher: ), and I work long hours and into the weekends. I need to be organized and start early in order get the packing done.

I hate having to do it all at the last moment - I prefer to start my vacation relaxed and refreshed. Knowing everything is packed and organized helps me achive just that :goodvibes

My hours are such that I also can't leave packing to the last minute. So, that is one reason that I have started filling the suit cases.

Oh, I also forgot to add to my list earlier, an Ace bandage. I hurt my leg on the last trip and you know it took us a week to get an ace bandage!

Anyway, here are my mini goals of getting us out the door on time:

Wednesday June 22: Take the car for a full service check (I have this day off)

Sat&Sun June 25, 26: Finish washing everything that everyone wants to take, buy whatever else needs to be bought.

Sat&Sun July 2,3: Pack everything except the toiletries

Friday July 8: Take the car and have it cleaned, buy snack food and drinks for the drive down, fill the car with gas, pack the car.

Saturday July 9: Be pulling out of the driveway at 3am!!!!!!!! :cool1:

Kids packed,Nana is packed and so is mom :) Were going nuts over here.Got the count down clock going on all computers :Pinkbounc As of right now we have 13d 10hr 53min and 41s to go.

Were leaving June 29th Single digit dance  I've been packing for 2 weeks. Counting tops & short for 4 of us each day. Bathing suits, coverups. Day & night clothes, sandles, water shoes & flipflops for the pool. Hats, visors, sunglasses. Thats it so far.... :wave2:

Been too busy to start anything until today. :teacher:
We've picked up stuff for the last few weeks like ponchos, foot spray, clorox wipes, palmolive dishwipes etc. and I bought a lot for my DS 4 at the season ending sales last year.

Today I finally made my list  of what I have on the spare bed and am tring to decide what else needs to be ready. After the last trip, I definitely want to take less! We'll see what happens!

I haven't started packing exactly, but I've started "piling". I need to get organized big time before this trip.
