July Crowds

I am thinking of heading to DL next July 1-3. We would stay at a Disney Hotel. What are the crowds like???

I just read on another thread that if I book my trip through AAA I get unlimited Fastpass'. Does anyone know if this is true? This would really push me over the edge to book through AAA.

Being that's right before the July 4th holiday (and a weekend) it's going to be really crowded. Add the 50th anniversary on top of that--I'm guessing wall to wall people. Personally, I don't think I'd go near DL during July of next year (other than my plan to go on the 17th for the actual anniversary date--not that I plan to ride much of anything--I just want to be there).

<font color=navy>I think it's going to be more crowded, too, but more crowded starting 4th July on -- that seems to be the kick off for summer crowds.

If that is the only time you'll be able to go, then I would say go for it -- the 50th anniversary should be a blast.

I know they are doing that this year. You need to book a package through AAA and stay at one of the onsite hotels.

It's my understanding that it is being promoted for 2004 vacations though - I don't know if they have extended it to 2005 or not.

Can't hurt to call and check with AAA.
