July crowds/heat VS. September crowds/heat

Is there really that big of a difference between the 2 months?

I haven't been to Disney in the summer since I was a kid but we went to WDW Sept 2000 and it was still very hot. We were there Sat, Sun, Mon and Tuesday and only the weekend was crowded. Tuesday we walked onto ToT and RnR with absolutely no waits around lunchtime.

We have been 2 times in Sept--never in the summer--and the weather was hot. It may be a few degrees cooler than mid summer but not much. Our last visit Sept 2002 we had atleast 2-3 days it was 90 degrees and over.
The crowds however in Sept were great. I want to say the longest wait we had with no fast pass was 30 min. and that was only 1 or 2 really popular rides, others were shorter.

The parks are PACKED in July and it's HOT< HOT< HOT!! Go in Sept. It will still be hot, but you won't be fighting the crowds.

We recently returned home from our JULY trip. It was the worst trip I have had at WDW. Too Hott, Too Many People. We went in September 2001 before 9/11 and it was simply awesome. No crowds! It was very hott like July but it is much easier without the crowds. May 2002 was better than July but more crowed than September. May, July Sept all freaking HOTT
