July AK hours

I've noticed that the July hours Disney released has AK closing at 5. Is that typical? We are trying to figure out when to make an ADR for Rainforest Cafe and still be able to get a bus back to our hotel.

Yes, that's normal year-round at Animal Kingdom. But I'm expecting some changes when they roll out the nighttime entertainment, which should start before July.

We typically go in July, and the hours that were released for all the parks seem early to me. I know those wil change several times between now and then, so I would not worry too much. IIRC last year it closed at 8 pm most nights. As the PP said, the nighttime entertainment is supposed to start in April or May, so I would expect things to be open later in July as well.

Last year, Animal Kingdom was open until 7PM or 8PM leading up to July 4th, and then 6PM or 7PM on the days following. I suspect the new nighttime show will have a bigger impact on times this year.
