Who is RENKnt2000? :confused3 did I miss a memo?

And another thing when did I get fired as the Offical Photographer :sad2:

Miss a few staff meetings and it like you were never there :rolleyes1

Renknt or Mike

DISCLAIMER

I apologize for any confusion. I am the last one to ask axactly who is the photographer - official or otherwise. I am simply attempting to prove my worthiness to belong to your illustruious group by impressing all by what I have learned. My novel should never under any circumstances be used as reference manual...or for that matter as a flotation device either. :rolleyes1

Karen...they told me there were only so many spots per time, but when I asked them how MANY spots, they said they didn't know! :sad2: They said I could keep checking back and also check onboard to "see if anything can be switched," but I don't have really high hopes for that!

So...If anyone out there managed to get 2 dolphin swims at 11:00 that they would like to swap for 2 dolphin swims at 12:00, let me know! My family would love to do this together!

Kim :flower:

CHAPTER 7
A Distant Keg From A Distant Land

Everyone loves Mommykeg. How can you not? The greatness of “Rancho Cucamongaians” is legendary. It has been said by many here so it must be true. As a “Reformed Rancho Cucamongaian”, I must agree.

…and the race for 90 continues.

CHAPTER 8
More Good Fortune

Hayesktrm is coming home from the cruise with no credit card bills. Yeah!

…and the race for 90 continues.

CHAPTER 9
A Strange Turn of Events

Everyone senses it. Something is not right. Is there a mouse in the house? Finally, it is Soccermom-Cheri that uncovers the truth. CACruisin' has been lurking in the shadows all along, invisible to all. Enjoying the fruits of this harvest, but failing to plow a single field, she must be punished. Bring us navigators and you may stay!

…and the race for 90 continues.

There has been some talk about shirts. This is out of my area of expertise, but I did run across this site. I mocked something up. Just threw something up to get the ball rolling. Someone with better skills might do a better job or have a better idea. I just thought it was cool they had lime green shirts. Check out this link, click on front & back & larger view. http://www.cafepress.com/cp/customize/designer.aspx?clear=true&number=20533184

I'll take one t-shirt in ladies large, please. :jumping1:

So you got up at the crack of dawn and still don't get to swim with the dolphins at the times you all wanted? The whole ship must be filled with eager planners. Looks like Cassie and I will be working on our tans while Chris and Timmy golf. Kim, you said they weren't sure how many spots there were?? Maybe more spots will open after the first 1 or 2 cruises and DCL finds out they can handle more. :confused3 Here's hoping!

Maybe we can still get the Cabo Beach Break if I remember to call tomorrow. (Kids go back to school  so I could be busy celebrating  )

Dude the design pirate: is great and putting our screen names under the Pirate is a stroke of genius I think that these would be great. Can you add our true name under the screen names? I couldn’t figure it out.

I think every one should get one if for no other reason it will scare the heck out of the other passengers

Wow thats a lot of green

The shirt can be customized. The graphic on the front and back is a psd file from my computer. I made it up & posted it. I can put screen name, real name or both. I just have to create the name & post it for each shirt. The shirt sizes are S, M, L, XL & 2XL. The shirts cost $14.99, $3.00 for 2XL & $4.00 for S/H. I'll have to figure out how to take orders because the names will require me to set each one upindependently. It isn't hard, but would require me to place the orders. The other possibility is the cafe store. I tried setting it up with no mark-up. It worked great and would allow everyone to buy thier own shirt direct. Have to call them in morning to see about how to handle the name personalization. Worst case: I can take orders, run credit cards through my business and order shirts for everyone. I'll let you know tomorrow

I think I have the store set up. If this shirt meets with everyone' approval, it is ready to go. DO NOT ORDER YET!!! I would like to hear from a few more people, so let's wait a few days. RENKT, SWCRUISER ,SOCCERMO-CHERI & SOCCERDAD-CHRIS shirts are already posted since they have responded with an pirate: "Aye!" Keep in mind that although this is a storfront, I have set it up with 0% mark-up; I am making nothing.

This is the new link to the store - check out the lime green t-shirt. All the other items come up automatic and are available as well at no mark-up for the real cruise nuts.

Those look great. I would be interested in ones that say Karen, Todd, Megan and Ryan (each name on a separate shirt).

Karen

I showed these to DH and DS and DH became rather upset that he didn't have his name on one. He is not going to be one to get on the computer and we haven't even allowed DS to venture into cyberspace so I think I would want one with my swcruiser and then one that says James and Cameron.
Lori (swcruiser)

Interesting reading today! Finally got through to DCL about 6:15ish this morning to book our excursions. The first Disney rep I spoke with said I was too early.... couldn't make ressies until 5/9/05! Hung up, called back, and booked the excursions right away. The only time available for the dolpin swim was 11a.m. That really booked up quickly!!!! Our schedule includes:

PV: Swim w/the Dolphins, 11am
M: Bonding w/the Magic (aka: Official 'Welcome Home' Greeter to our DISBoard group returning from excursions)
Cabo: Chileno Bay Snorkeling Adventure, 7:40am

Anyone game for a Savenger Hunt aboard the Magic? Is this something we can do? :confused3 If so, I'll be happy to work some Magic while we're docked in Mazatlan.

I love the lime green shirt with the pirate logo. Two thumbs up!

Amy

Made some corrections. Added first names. If you already posted before this post asking for a shirt, then your shirts are at the site. Please proof & PM any corrections. The only person whose first name I do not have is Renknt. Everyone else, let me know if you want one and I'll mock it up. Still advising DO NOT BUY!!! Someone might point something out that has been overlooked or a typo. Everyone proof. I can't be reponsible for any errors. Making a change at this point would be very hard. All the shirts up there collectively took some time as I had to create each shirt individually. The first shirt took a couple of hours to knock out gathering images and font in the correct format. Now I can build a shirt & load it in about 10 minutes. Unfortunately, any changes would require rebuilding each of the 16 alreay completed.

Here are the names of the shirts on the sight:
SCOUTER-DAD
SCOUTER-MOM
QUINTON
SOCCERDAD-CHRIS
SOCCERMOM-CHERI
RENKNT
HAYESKTRM
TODD
MEGAN
RYAN
SWCRUISER
JAMES
CAMERON
AMOUS
GRUMPYMOM1
CHRIS
JEANNE
JACK
LAUREN

CHAPTER 10
Hollywood, Here I Come

Dylcal prepares to journey to a distant land...Hollywood. My favorite Hollywood day trip for guests who want a taste of Hollywood goes like this.
Bright & early we arrive at Union Station in downtown Los Angeles. We walk across the street to Olvera Street for an authentic slice of Old Mexico. Photo of family sitting on stuffed donkey in hand, we go across the street to Philippe – home of the 1st French Dip. I like the pork dipped with a slathering of the famous spicy mustard.
We take a quick tour of Union Station where many legendary films were made on our way to the Famous Los Angeles Subway to nowhere. We get off right at the doorstep of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre where we compare footprints with legendary stars. We walk next door to the Kodak Theater & Mall where the Oscar’s are held and along the way we enjoy the street performers and sidewalk crazies. We get a little treat and sit on the balcony overlooking the Hollywood sign.
A quick walk back to the subway along the Hollywood Stars Walk of Fame. We shoot up to the Universal City Walk for some crazy, only in California shopping. We enjoy street performers, take a lot of pictures and finish with dinner at “Gladstones For Fish” – a California seafood legend.
At the end of the day, it’s a quick subway trip back to union Station. There are rail connections to Union Station from many parts of Southern California. Union Station is a half hour train ride from Disneyland, I believe.

…and the race for 90 continues. :moped:
