July 9th 2005 - West Coast Cruise.

Thanks for the postcard, Lori. Made me wanna go right now! At least I can say... only 23 days

goin' to the Pol-y
gonna par-ty
uh-huh, uh-huh uh-huh uh-huh :woohoo:

whew! sorry 'bout that :lmao:

did I mention that I can't wait?

Sheryl- maybe by next summer Timmy will be into the b##bies. When we were in St. Maarten in October he just looked away and muttered, "geesh, put some clothes on" ok, to be fair, they were of the "wrinkly" persuasion :rotfl2:

Cassie is already completely boy crazy at 8, so I'm kinda waiting for her brother to catch up and adore something other than a golf course.

We haven't had one in a while. So, if you are willing, please check in and let us all know what's up. Sheila, I know you're hiding somewhere. Kim, come out come out where ever you are. Lori (jel0511) I know you're on the boards planning your Med cruise...

Amy, where you at? Summer break yet? Mike/Sara/Lexie?

we already know how Lori and Cassie's husband are: relaxed and tan from DCL cruise!

Here I am! :Pinkbounc

The school year ended for me June 16th, and we've been busy with summer stuff ever since...swim lessons and t-ball for Hunter, science day camp and children's theater for Alexis, and MANY trips to Raging Waters to beat the heat (we have season passes)! I only wish I lived as close to the beach as you, Cheri!

It's been so darn hot that I haven't been able to motivate myself to do the "normal" stuff I should be doing...organizing paperwork, cleaning out closets, re-decorating Alexis' room (she's been bugging me for a hawaiian theme and an end to the baby yellow walls for over a year now!), doing lesson plans for the new school year which will start at the very end of July, cleaning out the garage, etc. Nope, none of that is getting done! It's just get up in the morning and figure out how we'll stay cool today!

Danny has been interviewing...now that Hunter will be starting Kindergarten in September, his days as the stay-at-home dad are numbered! We're sure something will come through soon!

Haven't been to Disneyland for awhile...think we'll wait for the Fall to avoid the heat and the crowds! We have tickets for Mickey's Halloween party thing in October. We enjoyed it last year...made a weekend trip out of it...probably will do the same this year. Any Southern California people going to that? Maybe we'll see you there!

But the most important thing...we're planning our next DCL cruise, an Eastern in March 2007. It's so much more exciting this time because we KNOW how awesome the trip will be! Danny doesn't know it yet, but I'm already thinking about booking onboard for a November 2008 cruise to celebrate my 40th birthday (which is in December, but I'm off-track in November)! And then June 2010 will be our 15th anniversary...what better way to celebrate? And then... I'm truly addicted...I can't think of a better possible vacation!

Hope all is well with all of you! Have a Happy and Safe 4th of July!

hey everyone!
Kim we will be at the Mickey Halloween thing too, I think the 20th but not sure and the calendar is downstairs. We too have been to Raging Waters about three times. Since I work, one of Cameron's best friends goes all the time and Cam goes with them quite a bit, I have only been able to go the three times.

Cheri,
You make me laugh. That was so funny. Actually Cassie's husband is tanned, I am red. This is the first time in three years we have not had a cruise planned. I want to go back to WDW in November (be sure to ride Everest, its awesome) if we can swing it and then Hawaii over Easter break. I really should go to Oregon and see my sister next year too but if one of my kids on my caseload ends up in Oregon then I will get to visit three times this year courtesy of the County of San Bernardino and that would free me up to do WDW next year. We have decided not to cruise in 2007 and wait until 2008. Cameron really wants to go at Christmas and besides the fact it will be insanely expensive, my mom does not want to cruise and I can't leave her alone on Christmas so we shall see. My dad left her with more money than she can spend but she still is very afraid of spending too much! I say enjoy!

Well I just had a huge pasta dinner so now I must nap before I tackle the 500 pictures I took in Florida and on DCL!
Lori

We're busy, busy, busy... Lexi's taking swimming lessons on Saturdays, and there are a boatload of birthdays this summer (maybe it's something about those crisp autumn afternoons...).

Mike & I are cruising the Western this September for our 5th Anniversary and planning a WDW trip in February with friends - just another two weeks & I can book on DVC points (we're hoping for Beach Club).

We might be doing a DL trip sometime in October, but it won't be as late as the Halloween party. This all depends on other friends and life not getting in the way. Lexi's 3 now, so we have to budget in her AP for the next trip.

Mike is still working for the TSA - and loving it. I'm not so crazy about him working weekends, but we knew this would be how it was when he took the job. For me, work is puttering along, nothing special going on now (tho' last month was another thing entirely - 3 concurrent audits and I had to replace one of my staff). How're those accounting classes going on Amy?

This week is the week pre-school closes for the week, so Mike is home with Lexi all week (except for tomorrow, when he's working). I expect them to be sick of each other by the end of the week.

A summer break?! Surely, you jest!! No summer breaks permitted for those of us who are over-zealous (or completely psychotic?) in finishing a degree. The current 8-week session ended last week and I'm awaiting the last of three grades to post. I start this week with the second 8-week session of the semester... with only two classes. Fortunately, only 2-1/2 semesters left to graduation (May 2007). Sara, the dreaded accounting classes are completely done!! I'm in the process of applying for the Masters program now. :crazy2: It's probably best I get enrolled before I lose my nerve.

Matt just got back from a mission trip to Mexico with the church's high school youth group. Came back totally exhausted, but very excited about building a much-needed home for a family. He's in training for the summer... varsity football.

Don't know when we'll cruise again. Although it's something we both need!!! :teeth:

Could we schedule a Fall 2006 Meet-N-Greet at Disneyland? Anyone game?

Summer has been busy for us to -- can't believe it has been almost a year since our cruise!! Well Dylan is keeping me busy with baseball tournements and football practice -- when do we get a break!!

Cheri -- be grateful Timmie is still into golf -- I think I have aged quite alot with Dylan's hormones!!! :rotfl2:

Enjoy!

Sheryl

We went to a local baseball stadium for the 4th of July and we saw our Kim up on the diamond vision (or whatever they call it being interviewed). Cameron was so excited he jumped up and down and said "Its Kim from our cruise". Nice job Kim!
Lori

I was on that screen? Oh noooooo!!!! I knew I didn't want to be interviewed, but my friend (a fellow teacher) thought it would be fun! Ugh!! We were out chasing our little ones around the FunZone in the heat...not so much fun for the grown-ups!! Where were you guys sitting? We were in Club section 2 when we finally went into the stadium to sit!

You looked fine! We were in the bottom section right behind home plate. Good view for a baseball game but we had to look too far up to see the fireworks! It took us 45 min. to get out of the parking lot. I think next year we'll park at Home Depot and walk!

Hi Everyone.
Its hard to belive that we were just finishing our cruise exactly one year ago.

I just wanted to let everyone know that I wish that we could all get together again for another cruise. I miss you all

well except for Amy but I will improve my aim and get her later

there's always 2008. I've already fax'd inventory control. No clue when we'd go, 'cept summer is a shoe in - no more school time off for Timmy.

Give Lexi a big hug for us!

(Amy TAKE SOME TIME OFFFFFFFF! Sheesh woman. You gotta stay in tip top shape so you can dodge Mike me thinks)

C'mon! You know you want to. We can have another party! Instead of t-shirts we can have commemorative .... let's see... Amy, any ideas what we could have?

Ha!! :lmao:

I'm not sure yet. I know a lot of people think that the ship will be here in CA again for the anniversary. We are going 12/07. Finally talked my mom into going. She's always wanted to go to Hawaii too so we will be going in 4/07. If we have any money left.....Cameron really wanted to cruise on Christmas Day but geeez its way too expensive and I have such a hard time getting time off from work. We will be going 12/16-20. He will miss some school but the week before Christmas there is nothing going on. I would love to see Disneyworld at Xmas but my mom is not up to that. Someday....
Lori

Hi everyone! Hope you all are well. So when are we getting together again? Disneyland is decking out both parks for Halloween this year starting 9/29 so since I am the Halloween fanatic I'm loving it.
