July 8, 2012 5 Night Bahamian Cruise

Is it too early to start thinking about and planning for this one?

We booked it on-board the July 5, 2011 sailing of the Dream. Had hoped for a seven night -- but the prices were way too high for us -- we could book a B2B on the Dream for that price. Hmmmmmm.......maybe.......but not yet.

Anyway -- anyone else on the July 8, 2012 sailing -- with two wonderful stops at Castaway Cay? Counting down the days already.

I love surprising the kids - we did it once heading to WDW at Thanksgiving. Picked them up from school - we were packed - dogs boarded - and we were off. A great memory.

I'll bet your DD loves the ship. We couldn't hardly get ours out of the Oceaneer's Lab both cruises and Scuttles Cove at Castaway Cay on the first one.

I can't believe she will be too old for those this next cruise .

My DD18 and myself will be onboard as well! This will be our 9th DCL cruise and our 2nd on the Dream. We keep having such a good time that we can't stop ourselves from signing up again. We usually do our cruises in August but since DD will be going to university next year, we thought we'd go earlier in the summer. Thanks for starting the thread!

Welcome! Your two youngest are the age of my kids. Yeah. Will you be staying at the Hyatt in the airport the night before? Hopefully a meet up will get formed for that too. We are also interested in participating in a FE exchange. I just bought the materials needed yesterday to make our gifts to give out. I am so excited! I don't think anyone has set up a FE group yet for our sailing, but I bet it will happen as the date gets closer. I found information by searching FE under search this forum on the blue bar on the right side of the screen. Then to see replies click the "thread tools" and "subscribe to this thread" and you will get notifications when people reply. Welcome to the DIS boards! I am pretty new here myself! This is my son's Make a Wish trip and after his wish was confirmed I came looking for more information about Disney cruises. So glad I did!!! I have learned so much to make this trip even more special for him.

Welcome! That is so awesome your whole family is going! I wish I could get my family to do that, but there is no way. I am sure you will all love it.

Can't wait for our families to be together for this cruise. We are going to make great memories together. Counting the days already. The FE is going to be so much fun, I have already begun shopping!!

We will be flying in from Houston the morning of the cruise so no Hyatt for us. Thanks for the info and it is awesome your son will get to enjoy the cruise!

I know its a long way off (153 days to be exact ) but when do we start doing stuff for the FE? Again, its my first time and I have no idea how many to have ready or when to give them out etc...is there a certain way it is typically done? Excuse my impatience, i am just so excited!!
