Ya know, I am noticing lots of 3 night cruise meet threads started but not much in replies. I'll be diligent and keep bumping thread back up front every week or so.

The Wonder is a large ship so I know they'll be others on it....sigh....too bad they haven't found the DIS boards yet.

I will keep hoping and bumping!

Hi!! My husband and his friend are coming on this cruise. They don't know yet!!! My friend and I have booked this cruise for our husbands as a surprise. Pirates Of The Carribean 2 "Deadman's Chest" is being released July 7th and we wanted them to see the premier in the Carribean!!!!!! pirate:
They have no idea. My husband and I have cruised 4 times. My friend and her husband have cruised 2 times!!!!! It is great!!! We both have kids and we are having to keep this trip a secret from them.
I hope you all have a great trip. Let me know if you have questions about the clubs or ANYTHING!!!
Hope to hear from you soon!!! :thumbsup2

Wow Goofyfreak! What an awesome surprise! I actually remember you mentioning POTC 2 coming out on this cruise, so I went out and bought POTC 1....watched it w/my daughter (age 11) She & I will prob be the only ones in our group to see the premier on the ship.
I am getting pretty good info on the kids clubs. I guess my only concern is if we are planning on diff activities on the ship , one ends at 8:15 and one begins at 8:30 can we get to the 2nd one in time? Of course I'm going by old navigators here, but I saw pirate bingo goes to a certain time and Golden Mickeys starts 15 minutes later.
I got some info about a pirate museum in Nasuua which sounds good, especially since we didnt have any intrest in the excursions but def want to get off the ship and do "something"! I am hoping to convince my mom to skip over to Atlantis for a bit in the afternoon to hit the casino for a lil bit. What time is last call for boarding to get back on the ship that day? Wouldn't want to miss the boat!!

77 days to go! I'm so excited!!!
Hopefully others will check in as well! :cool1:

Hi all! Sadly I won't be joining you on this cruise as I'll be on a Mission Trip in New Orleans. BUT my mom shall be going on with her friend, both PIXIES for Gifts of a Lifetime! They are willing to book events and deliveries for THIS CRUISE ONLY! I really wish I could go with them to celebrate the magic in these events, but I wish any of you that decide to book a GREAT time. You can see what's available and book with Gifts of a Lifetime at www.giftsofalifetime.com . Remember --THIS CRUISE ONLY! It's a once in a lifetime (gifts of a lifetime!) opportunity!

I posted on the other thread as well but I had a GOAL event on our last 3 day cruise for my then DS7. It was pirate themed and he had a blast running all over the ship finding his clues. It was great! He still talks about it and it was a highlight of our trip.
Sadly he won't be going this time since it's a "Girls getaway cruise" but I'm gonna check out the website and see what else is being offered.
Thanks for the info!

there has GOT to be more of us......... :confused3

maybe we'll have the ship all to ourselves :woohoo:

bumping in case we have some new people since they just released discounts for FL residents

Hi,

My family lives in the New Orleans area. Thank you for your generosity by coming here, TinkerBellPixie4GOAL. My family was affected by Hurricane Katrina and DURING Katrina. The details are not something to be shared in a forum such as this. This cruise was supposed to be a family reunion, but only my immediate family will be there, which includes my wife and children, my parents, and my brother and his wife. The "Gifts of a Lifetime" idea sounds like an interesting one, but I'm not sure we really have an occasion to celebrate with such a gift.

I would very much like to meet with other people going on this cruise. We want to go on one of the dolphin encounter trips, but I'm finding mixed messages about which are good and what you actually get. I'd be grateful for any information.

Definitely looking forward to it. See you there!

We decided to take advantage of the Florida rates in order to go on our first cruise. We will be celebrating my DH's birthday. We will be traveling with DS5 and DS2. Looking forward to a great time.

We're staying at the Radisson the night before the cruise. Is anyone else staying there? Anybody care to have a quick meet-n-greet with our families? We're booked on the 10:00 shuttle Thursday morning.

We can't wait!
:woohoo:

Hi all!
I'm the guilty party that started this thread, sorry I've been neglecting it.
We are flying out next Wednesday the 28th. Doing the disney parks till July 6th when we head over to PC. Wish we could do the meet & greet the night before but my mom & I will be frantically packing up 9 days worth of stuff.
We are taking DCL bus from the airport...I think my mom wanted that bus b/c its the earliest bus to PC. Yes..she knows we can't get on the ship till a certain time but she was insistent.

Just got fabulous news today. Travel agent called and we got bumped from cat 9 to a cat 6 with a verhanda! My kids & I did a happy dance. My son (age 9) kept chanting "We have a porch!!) it was so dang cute. Cabin 6042, it'll be easy to find....I went a lil overboard making magnetic door signs..lol
I couldn't resist..there were just so many cool Disney pics out there!

Anyone else have early dinner seating?
Anyone dressing up (costume) for Pirate Night?
Anyone else going to see the midnight showing of Pirates of the Caribbean 2 Dead Man's Chest?

Great news on the cabin! We're in 6010. I have two other family members in cabins on the same deck and hallway as us, both with verandas. This cruise is a family reunion for us.

I also have a 9 year old son, and a 6 year old daughter. My son turns 10 in July, and we're not sure if he'll want to be with the 8-9 year olds or the 10-12 year olds in the Oceanneer Lab.

We will be at the early dinner seating. We're also planning on the midnight POTC showing, but we haven't made a decision about costumes yet.

The last time my wife and I went on a cruise, it was our honeymoon. We took the "Big Red Boat" which was the precursor to the DCL.

I'm sure we'll see you guys on board. My signature has the countdown for this cruise. We're going to WDW for 5 days after the cruise.

We're in 7128! Less then 2 weeks people!!!!!!!!!!!

congrats on the upgrade!
