July 5th Dream

You all are very on top of it! I fly out Sat morning and still need to start packing! YIKES! Instead I made my girls black/red and black/pink tutus for Pirate night today and got all of their clothing out. Now for suitcases, carry ons, and my stuff...

Great! What time are you guys planning on arriving at the port? We are staying at the Hyatt MCO the night before and are hoping to be on the 1st or 2nd bus out (depending on when we wake up-our flight gets in after midnight). I think I know what t-shirt I'm wearing and as soon as I know that it still fits <crosses fingers> I'll let you know so it won't be hard to spot me at all.

Hopefully as early as possible!! I put 10:30 down but we are at the mercy of the Poly resort and when they pick up for the cruise!! Once I know what we are wearing I will try to post!

I'll have lime green ribbon on my bag as well and tied to my sons stroller. My group may or may not be wearing matching "50th" birthday shirts depending on if we get to DTD to make the t-shirts.

It's official! I'm TOO excited to sleep!

We made it to Orlando today - 25 minutes early! Good thing too. Just as we were leaving the plane, it came a terrible storm. As our luggage came rolling in, they announced overhead that no luggage would be brought in until all lightning was no longer within 6 miles of the airport! We grabbed our luggage, picked up our rental car and off we went...slowly. It was raining so hard that you couldn't see the the lines on the road! We checked into our hotel, got settled in and by then it had began to clear some. So we decided to head to Downtown Disney for dinner. We have never been, so we ate at T-Rex - DS choice. Great atomsphere. Then we walked around some until the rain returned and now we are back at our hotel. I am finally relaxed after all the anti-anxiaty meds I have had today to help with the flying and I also had an adult beverage with dinner! So tomorrow I guess we will try to tackle Sea World if the weather cooperates! Hope everyones plans are coming together. Will post more later!

We are finally here in Cape San Blas, FL!!!

We had a good drive down, and I am so impressed with how well my dog behaved. She just pretty much slept or laid in her kennel. Not a peep out of her the whole two days!

The girls, on the other hand, talk talk talk the whole way down! Which we enjoyed - the older they get, the quieter the house is.

I completely forgot what time I put down to arrive at the port! I suppose we will get there once everyone wakes up and loads up the van. I have no idea what we will be wearing, and I completely forgot the lime green ribbon as well. If you see a short, fat blonde with a tall husband and three beautiful young ladies, that would be my family.:) If you say, "hey, Kathleen" and I turn around, well that would be me!

Dylcal, I mentioned meeting your son to my girls, too, and of course, being 16 year old girls, they are all for meeting boys, too, not just girls! :thumbsup2 If we don't meet up at the terminal, then certainly at the Family Beach Meet!

We are still meeting at the end of the Family Beach on our first Castaway Cay day, right?

Those that have arrived, I hope you are all having fun, and those that are still to arrive, enjoy your travels!

I love the idea of tutus. I bet your girls will look adorable.

Bette & Luv--glad you made it safely

It sounds like everyone will be easy to spot with their shirts and ribbons. I love seeing all of the homemade shirts on disney vacations. This is the first Disney vaycay in a long time that we didn't do shirts. We went with matching pirate outfits instead. I didn't want to push DD by having her match me twice in one week:laughing: so I'll have on a black "Wicked" t-shirt and DD has decided to wear her bright pink Ariel t-shirt. We both have laminated lime green mickey heads to attach to our bags and lime green ribbon so if you see us say hi:banana: We'll have our suits on underneath with the intention of heading straight to the duck so if anyone wants to join in the fun that would be great.

Tomorrow will be a busy day for us, and I'm so jealous of everyone who is already there. Picking up last minute items from the stores, DH can't find his dress belt, so needs a new one, taking the dogs to their "hotel" at the vets, picking DS up from 4H camp, last minute packing, and finishing the FE gifts, lol. Oh yeah, fun stuff like the bank, and post office too! Have to do laundry from DS's camp trip cause he has no socks, and only a couple pairs of shorts.
We will leave to spend the night in Raleigh tomorrow when DH gets home from work, and fly out Sat morning.

I will have my ribbon on my laynard or purse while at SSR. I've made the decision to leave the computer at home, so I will see you on the ship, and definitely on CC for our meet. Cutting the computer cord will be hard, but I need a vacation from it too! If anyone wants to meet at WDW before the cruise, PM me before 3 tomorrow and I'll send you my cell number.

I can't wait, I'm so tired from getting ready. Cya soon!:yay:

Last I saw was hanging out at the family beach area near the cabanas and the Sand Bar, 2nd tram stop. Green ribbons on chairs or bags so we know who to go say hi to.

Hope to meet everyone there, if not before.

Lisa

We'll be there:cool1: We have the double jetski excursion at noon but will try and stop by before. If we sleep in, then def. after we ride.

We'll pop in also! I've made the Home Depot paint Mickey heads into luggage tags, so we should be easy to spot.

hey everybody,

heading to the airport soon. safe travels to everyone and see you on the DREAMY side.
