Welcome basketrn!
So I looked at my calendar today, and realized that in just ONE MORE YEAR, I will be starting my packing!!!!!
I usually start about two weeks before we leave, since it takes awhile for 3 females to try on everything and weed through what we have, then shop for what we don't have, then match the shoes to the outfits, and make sure that all things besides clothing are also accoutned for. My DH packs just before we leave. He doesn't understand why I start early.
Wanna know why? Cause last week, we went to Wisconsin for 3 days, and DH didn't pack any underwear. He packed himself. The girls and I were fine. Hey, at least tax in Wisconsin is less than in Illinois, and DH has some new underwear.
That swim-up bar, well, doesn't really look "swim-up", but if I can get at least and hour a day there, I will be happy. However, I had a shock when I showed my eldest DD the picture, and she said that her and her friend (coming with us) will probably be there all day. I forgot she will be almost 21.
DH and I no longer have any place to go that we won't run into our daughter. She was 17 on our last cruise. This will be different. Still good, just different.
Youngest DD will be in the teen club with her friend everyday, or so she says. Something about if the teen counselors have English accents and are hot, she won't ever have to leave.
Actually, if there is a hot English guy in the teen club, do you think they will let old moms in there, too?
And in case you missed it, ONE MORE YEAR UNTIL PACKING!!!!!
She goes crazy over an english accent. I think she got that from me. I may be joing you in the clubs if they'll let us in. Isn't 40 the new 17 anyway
Or I can just stalk (err I mean search for) his dad-providing he's single of course.
Family includes DH(43), and 3 sons ages 17, 15 and 7(July 4th bday) at the time of the cruise. I'll try to get older sons to check out teen thread, they are excited about teen areas.
