July 4th weekend

We've been to Disney in May three times. This year we are going at the end of June to July 5th. How long are the waits for the major attractions on July 4th? Is it even worth going to the parks on July 4th?

The parks will be jam packed. July 4th will be one of the most crowded days of the year.

They usually are very easy to manage by July 5th or 6th since everyone checks out. But I see you are one of the people leaving.

You might want to consider a nice day at the hotel pool.

We will be there also. Heard that the MK is the worst. You should fair better in the other 3 parks.

I have never been, but MK is very likely to close to capacity on the 4th. I read somewhere that the line for the women's toilets can be 20 minutes.

The 5th does usually get quieter, but then the 5th is also the Federal Bank Holiday this year. I am going to avoid the 4th like the plague, but brave MGM on the 5th because its fits with our schedule (based on the new EMH programme).

If you really want to go to a park on the 4th I would say go to Epcot and ARRIVE EARLY!

We went to DW on July 4th one time and one time only. We were at MK that day and you couldn't hardly move. They have ropes in the middle of the walkways so that people walking one way wouldn't wonder over. This was to help keep the traffic flowing.

It was hot, but we actualy had a lot of fun, because everyone there was in this wonderful spirit. See the fireworks show on the 4th of July was spectacular and will give you goose bumps.
