July 4th Le Cellier PS

We have a PS for Le Cellier at 7:00 pm for July 4 th. Will this give us enough time and still be able to get a viewing area for Illuminations?

I doubt it. How big is ur party?

You can count on dinner taking over an hour and if your not seated right at 7, it won't leave much time - we're talking about the 4th of July here.

You can still get a view, but don't expect anything great.

Is there something extra in the plans for the July 4th show?

There are 4 of us. EPCOT is just where we decided to view fireworks this year. Last year on the 4th we were in MK. Way too crowded!!

I can't imagine it being any better in epcot either...but at least you have an awesome meal.

We ate at Le Cellier on the 4th of July in 2002 and we had to wait about 45 minutes past our PS time. I can't remember what time we had the PS for, nor can I remember what time we finished, but it was before Illuminations, because I remember having an impossible time getting from Canada to the International Gateway, it was extremely crowded.
On an up note, Epcot on a whole was not crowded that day, just at Illuminations time around the lagoon.

You should be okay depending on how long you actually have to wait to be seated. Le Cellier is historically very slow, especially when they are full which they should be on the 4th. The good news is that Epcot is large enough that you will be able to find a good viewing spot at the last minute although you will probably have to stand.

I thought Illuminations was to start at 10:00. I have PS at Rose and Crown for 8:00 and hoping to stay there for illuminations. Anyone know if you can view from the inside dining area or are you allowed on the patio?? I was afraid of the large crowds at MK and decided on Epcot

We'll also be at Epcot for July 4th!!! We have a lunch PS at LeCellier, and dinner PS at Mexico! Can't wait to see the fireworks/Illuminations show!!! This is our third time visiting for July 4th holiday!! See ya there!!!

We have an early dinner at Le Cellier on the 4th (around 5 PM, I think). There are 10 of us!

according to the information I found on
DIS it says Illuminations starts at 9 pm,
so you may need to rethink the 8 pm dinner at rose and crown.

It was a recent change from 10pm to 9pm. We had to change our PS that night which was not easy.
