If we wanted to get a good view of the fireworks but not enter the Magic Kingdom and the crowds the evening of the 4th - - - any thoughts on viewing areas?

Polynesian (pool) area was a thought. Top of bay lake resort, another.

Keep them coming - - thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Are you staying at Poly? If not, you will not be able to get into the pool area. At this point, I am not counting on the beach being open for the 4th either. To be honest, without the beaches available at the monorail resorts, your best bet is probably going to be the dock at the TTC. They have music piped in and it's a good view.

I am guessing you own DVC points as that is the only way to view from the observation deck at BLT. I know I have read during NYE that you have to not only own DVC points, but also be staying at BLT. Not sure if they have the same rules for 4th of July.

There is also the 4th floor observation at Contemporary that anyone can visit.
