July 4th festivities near the boardwalk?

I just snagged a room for July 4th at the Boardwalk, is there anything special that goes on around the resort, we aren't actually going into the parks, the crowds are too much for us... We thought we'd hang out by the pool and around the resort for the evening. Do they ever do any movies by the pool or anything special that anyone would suggest checking out?

We own at Boardwalk and will be staying across the lake from y'all at BCV on July 4th.

Movies are shown on the Beach at the Beach Club. If it is raining, the movies are moved indoors to the solarium.

There are many great things to do in and around the Boardwalk. We enjoy renting boats and surrey bikes. There is a putt putt course over next to the Swan & Dolphin.

I bet Jellyrolls will be rocking that night too!

IF you have tickets, then you may want to walk over to Epcot. Illuminations will be at 10pm, with a special July 4th tag on the end of it. It will be crowded, but manageable. (You can probably see some of the Epcot and DHS fireworks from the Boardwalk Area.)

Many people also view MK fireworks from the Poly beach...however, that will also be crowded. Epcot's American Adventure also has special activities in the afternoon.
