We currently have FastPass+ reservations for Illuminations on July 4th, it's been years since we've been to The World, & we'd like to enjoy the fireworks comfortably on a busy day so I thought making FastPass ressies for Illuminations was a great idea. Now cue Frozen FastPasses being released, should I cancel my reservation for Illuminations & just view the fireworks all willy-nilly? We are visiting Epcot another time during our stay but we would rather keep our Soarin' FastPasses because we are big Soarin' fans. WWYD?

I would get FEA if at all possible. That ride's standby is going to be rediculous that weekend where as Illuminations has many good viewing areas that only require 30 minutes or so to get. Unless you have to be right up against the railing (which isn't guarenteed in FP anyways) I would FP the ride.

Thanks, the more I think about it, the more I definitely agree. Even though Illuminations is more than just a fireworks show, what is shown is visible in many places, so hopefully we will find a good view from somewhere. & thankfully there are still FPs available for FEA. :)
