July 4-6 Celebration and Rip Ride Rockit?

Hi all - just read the article on the DIS about the July 4th weekend celebrations at Universal Studios and it sounds awesome - my question is will rides on Rip Ride Rockit be affected by the "pyrotechnics" show and the "cinematic celebration"? Hmmm. This is only our third Universal trip so we are newbies, just planning ahead since we LOVE riding RRR at night! I'll reach out to Universal officially but just wondered if others had any experience with similar show/ride issues. Thanks.

Cinematic Celebration won't have any affect on RRR as it takes place around the lagoon in the middle of the park but I'm not sure about the other fireworks, sorry.
