July 3rd Crowds????

I know the 4th of July is very crowded but what abouth the 3rd. We are just going for 1 night and will probably get to MK around 2PM or 3PM. Should we still be able to get into the MK? Does anyone have info on crowd levels for other years? Also, do any of the parks do anything special on the 3rd or is it all saved for the 4th? Thanks for any help you can give.

In your opinion would we be better off at another park? Maybe Epcot. Thanks again.

I don't mean to be the one to give you the bad news, but it will be packed. It's July 4th weekend. Epcot is always the best park to hit on holidays because it's the largest park and has wide walkways.

You might be able to get into the MK, but getting there mid-afternoon I'd assume you'll have to wait at least an hour for everything.....

Thanks for the info. It's a very spur of the moment trip. We have AP's and want to use as much as possible this year. Hubby and I both have off for the Holiday so we thought we would give it a go. We realize doing rides may be out of the question. Just hope we are able to get into Mk at least for Wishes. If not then it's off to Epcot.

I'm in the same boat. I won't be getting to Disney until 2:30 4th of July.....

I figure it will be at least 4:00 before I get to the Hotel.

Will I have any problems getting into MK for the evening Fireworks?

Considering that July 3 is on a Saturday this year, you can expect it to be shoulder-to-shoulder, with MK and probably MGM closing at capacity.

July 3rd is a Sunday. with the holiday being on Monday....

I've nver been at Disney for a Major Holiday so I'll brace myself for the worst crowds

Still ... it's a long weekend, and a Sunday. It will be PACKED. Get there early and don't leave, or you may not be able to get back in for fireworks.
