July 30, 2010 Mickey's Adventures England to Espana Cruise

hiya can i jump onboard as well :goodvibes
Booked about a month ago with an amazing GTY12 price. We are a couple with a 2 year old daughter, We love Disney and cruises so seemed like the perfect choice!!! will be first proper hol with Daughter. Can't wait!!!. I've been loitering around on this thread for a while now and thought it was about time I said hi...... So HI!!!!

Oh we're from Hull getting train to Dover night before then having two night in barcelona before coming back and we're Main sitting.

Hi your plans sound similar to ours. We've travelling to dover by train the night before, have main seating and then having two nights in Barcelona.
allison.

Does anyone know if rotation has been confirmed yet? I know someone mentioned that if it just repeats as normal we'd be in same restaurant for Formal night and Pirate night.

Thanks x

We won't know until we board and the rotation is printed on the key to the world card. But they will not have you in the same restaurant on Pirate night and formal night with that schedule as you would miss one of the signature menus. I suspect we will get something like LAPPLAPL or similar i.e. with a repeat or variation from the alternating schedule they usually go for.

Welcome to all the new people joining the cruise.

I guess we are not going to be the cruise that has only 800 passengers.

Can you imagine my youngest dd would be in heaven she would never have to wait in line to meet any characters.

Now no character lines would be GREAT. I guessed the cruise was filling up as I posted a page or two ago that the cat 12 rate has disappeared for groups of 3 or 4. Still available for the first Med cruise after us though...

Hi Allison, cool where you staying? I didn't realise Dover was so small the premier inn was fully booked so we're in a b&b, stopping at evenia rocafort when we get to barcelona. can't wait now.

Anyone travelling else traveling with under 3's? :confused3

Yea must admit i'm worried about dinner, if we'd had gone when she was younger we would have had late sitting and put her to sleep in her pram, but now there is no way she'll sleep in a noise restaurant.
How did you find Flounders? will we be ok booking on the ship?

Flounders was great in our experience. Now my older daughter was always one who would go anywhere and to anyone no fuss but the little one likes to play the make Mummy guilty game and cry when left anywhere! They have a great one way mirror thing in the entrance to Flounders, the first time we left Livvy I was convinced it would be a disaster, she cried and waved her arms at me calling "Mummy!" as if I had handed her over to Dracula, luckily I had to go drop something off to Izzy in the club so the CM reassured me it would be fine and off I went to the club. I came back and looked through the mirror and low and behold my little actress was merrily playing with the Cast Members and all the lovely toys!

We pre booked some time in Flounders but had no trouble adding extra time on but that was a carribean cruise with a lot of people not doing much serious touring, more chilling out. I expect it to be busier in Flounders this time as people choose to do excursions without the little ones in tow.

We actually often booked Flounders for an hour after our dinner seating started. That way they kids ate their meals quickly and then one of us took Livvy to Flounders between courses, our older DD sometimes went to the club at this point and sometimes stayed. We didn't do this every night but it was quite good as we all still ate together but then when they were at the end of their limit for sitting still at the table they were able to go and then we enjoyed the rest of the meal at a leisurely pace :)

What a great idea! might have to suggest that. We've booked in a couple of hours here and there and then hoping to add when we know whats on. Palo not excepting any more booking but hoping to eat in there one night. x

Only 19 more days of work.:cool1: My ticker says 30 days

The girls are done school. Do you think it is possible for them to stock pile sleep for the next 4 weeks and then not get over tired on the trip.

Lisa

Only 30 days left. I cant wait.

To do list for next week, currency exchange. Need to order some British Pounds and Euro's. Sometimes they take a week or two if you get them from a bank/Credit Union. trying to figure out how much of each is the toughest part.
