July 30, 2010 Mickey's Adventures England to Espana Cruise

::yes:: hide in Cat 3 or secret room Cat 7

would be great to meet you Dame Andrew:lmao:

What you got invited to enter a prize draw? what about me? that is not fair...

Scottishwee35

Oh, I can hide quite easily in the Cat 3, the wardrobes are rather large, The email was from Disney UK, on Friday, and basically had an advert for European DCL cruises and one simple question, I didn't even need to look at the 'advert' to know the answer.

What European port of call is not new to DCL.

  1. Malta
  2. Naples
  3. Florida.

I booked Freedom of the Seas for next year for my special birthday as I always want go on FOS... I hope my family and I will enjoy it as we love DCL

Hope I don't regard it about FOS:surfweb::surfweb: but I am sure we will enjoy it as we booked back of ship cat 1700 on ten floors... we have a big balcony and I love to see sunset ::yes::

and booked Disney Dream too b2b ::yes:: but i need to find out if Ian and I get time off work asap...

Scottishwee35

We were at the back of the ship as well had the Presidential suite nice room long walk to the elevators!:headache: Being at the back will add 5 minutes each way everytime you need to go to your room!

Very inconvenient!:headache:

That's my 2 cents or pence for the UK conversion!

Afternoon all. You have been busy.

Andrew I am beginning to think that you have some unfair treatment - I did not get an email from Disney UK! ;)

It is still cold and grey here, I do hope we get some good weather on our cruise. I know it won't be up to carribean standards but please let it at least be warm for the start of the cruise.

Off to cook Roast dinner for tea now!

Hi there,

We were on the Wonder at Christmas and didn't really get a chance to speak to the DCL rep much, although we did book a Dreams double dipper in 2011. We then looked at the med cruises although we already booked of the WB transatlantic and found a great price for the Dover-Barcelona repo looking forward to it.

What no CC

It's all in the paperwork, :goodvibes

PS

The answer was Naples, is not a new port!!!!!

Florida of course is not European.

Hi Guys,

Hope everyone is well. I keep looking for Vigo and Cherbourg excursions on the website, anyone care to guess when they will appear? Not planning on doing any but I am interested to see what is on offer for ideas about DIY Excursions.

Hi there!

I just stumbled across this thread.

I never contemplated a Disney cruise (though I am a massive WDW fan) but found a great rate on a Cat 12 GTY and thought I'd give it a whirl. My parents, kids, and brother- in law plus family are coming too.

Just wondering how other cruisers, particularly from the North of England (or Scotland) are getting to Dover. The EasyJet flights are booked back from Barcelona, so that isn't a problem. So far, I'm thinking car rental with one-way drop offs might be the best bet.

Any ideas?

:welcome:

We will book the train from Scotland to Dover as it will be two trains...

We booked Easyjet flights from Barcelona...

You can hire car for one way if you feel comfortable...

for us 6 of us as we felt the train more easy for us but we have to change in London for another train to Dover... We are leaving one day early and stay overnight at Dover as we cannot wait to see Disney Cruise dock there...;)

Well things have been busy in the States. We are expecting another big snowstorm in the Washington D.C. area -- from 1 to 2 feet!!! :worship: They have pretty much shut down the city and the surrounding suburbs at noon and we will be snowed in all weekend -- good now I have time to plan.:thumbsup2 Good thing I have a basement full of wine to take me through! I so wish it was July!:goodvibes

Knock on wood our luck continues, we have had very little snow this winter, I think you guys are getting it all.

Has anyone done any good magnets for this cruise that they would like to share? It is on the to do list but I have not gotten there yet.

Hey,

Ok, I just added

Stephen Kay
Mary Kay
Rachel Kay aged 15

Is there anyone else that I need to add? My email doesn't always send me updates from the DISboards. And the only way I knew about Stephen was that he sent me a PM.:)

Hope everyone is doing well! :)

Hi Karen,

We are travelling to London from Glasgow with Easyjet and will get the train from London to Dover - it's a bit of a pain but I figure we'll be so excited that the journey will go quickly. We got the flights at a great price -just over £20 each.

You'll love the cruise - we did our first Disney Cruise in 2008 and it was amazing :banana::banana:
