July 3 crowds/fireworks viewing

Wondering what crowds are like on the 7/3? I know probably 9 or 10/10. Does the park usually reach capacity? We want to see the patriotic fireworks but I don't think i'll set foot in MK on the 4th. I was thinking of trying to book dessert party or something (2016 so I have time just need luck...I can book 190 days before due to check in June 22). Any other ideas? Thanks.

VERY crowded,but not at capacity(temporarily) until sometime on the 4th.

How far in advance would be necessary to stake out a good spot...maybe around the new hub...if "Celebrate America" begins at 9:00pm? (It looks as if they are NOT offering FP+ for these fireworks on the 3rd.)
