July 29, 2013 Wonder Alaska

Yes it should get there in time, if you order by tomorrow no later than Monday. The shipping is free and this week the books are $8.99. You may be able to do express shipping if you are worried:hourglass

I did this once several years ago when I spent a week in Hawaii and saved tons of money with the buy one get one free. We used it for meals, submarine rides, horseback riding and lots of other things.

There are not a whole lot of museums in the book, but I was happy to see a few my son wanted to go to (Vancouver Maritime Museum, MacMillan Space Center, Stanley Park Horse Drawn Tours, etc.). Plus if I save on a restaurant or 2 I will be delighted!

Go for it! At worse if you don't use any of the coupons in the book in Vancouver there should be some in there you can use at home (National Coupons).

Thanks I ordered this morning!

Woohoo! Finally finished all of my FE stuff! Now to try to figure out how to explain the allowances for packing clothes based on the volume of FE items to my DH and DS... Fingers crossed my Space Bags work!

WOOO HOOOOO!!!

The excitement builds.....:cheer2:

Who would have thought that we would be only 14 days away from our cruise when we made our reservations so long ago.

It is going to be hard to sleep for the next two weeks!!!pixiedust:

Looking forward to meeting everyone!:wave2:

My favorite part of a cruise is walking through the ship, seeing a DISer and saying hello.

I'm working on something so that we can "recognize" each other. More later.....

How about we meet on embarkation day at 3 PM at the Promenade Lounge on Deck 3? Should give folks a chance to get into their rooms and enough time to talk before the muster drill at 4 PM. Does that work for folks?

here it is!

I didn't sign up to do the FE and I am rather new to this forum. Any way I can come to the Cruise Meet? This is a girls' trip...myself, my friend and my 10-year-old daughter. It is our first cruise and I'm hoping my daughter could make a little friend her same age. We have second seating for dinner so my daughter will most likely take advantage of the dine and play option.....it would easier if she'd already met a girl close to her age.

Of course. You don't have to be on the FE list to attend the meet. Everyone is welcome.

Crazy busy here this week... but still thinking about anything else we might want (not need, of course!!) to pack for the trip! But have to keep the bags under control! The college kid flies home on Sunday so that adds to the excitement!
I hope everyone, FE or not, stops at the meet or, if that doesn't fit in your first day, says hello if you see someone (maybe some of us have booked excursions together and don't even know it yet!)

Oh, and it's 2 weeks until Tracy Arm... and for those of us dealing with heat waves and humidity, glaciers sound pretty good!

You'll be able to find me in Diversions most nights. :drinking1

Not to spoil FE gifts (keeping the other side of the tag hidden), but I've made enough of these for everyone on the FE list PLUS about 30 extra. I'll have them at the meet on the first day if anyone wants some for their family. If you miss me there, leave a note at my cabin and I'll make sure you get them.

I couldn't resist having a way to identify DISers. :thumbsup2

These are awesome! I made up a sign for the meet on the first day so we'll be able to find each other before we're stylin' with the lanyards! Haven't figured out how to post pics on here yet, but I used the DIS boards logo to make it so hopefully it will be easy to recognize.

If anyone is like me and is going to spend time in Vancouver before the cruise starts and is looking for any attraction deals there are a few on GROUPON. You can get 54% off the Vancouver harbour tours for 2 or 4 and there's also a discount (53% off) for the city bus tour. I saw a some for things in Washington like 50% off whale watching.
