Hello Everyone
I got what we wanted although when I went on at 9am it completely froze me out and I had to wait until about 10:30.
We were going to try for Brunch on the 3rd our anniversery but no brunches left (so I hope we get the group one Andrew) instead we booked a spa Villa this sounds like a good way to me to celebrate an anniversery

Our plan now
28th Barcelona DCL Spanish Village
29th At Sea Pedicure, Group brunch?
30th Palermo Private tour Erice and Segasta
31st Naples DIY Sorrento and Herculaneum or Capri
1st Olbia DCL Wild Sardinia
2nd Civitavecchia DCL Etruscan Treasures, Dinner Palo
3rd At Sea Spa Villa
4th La Spezia DIY Cinque Terre
5th Marseilles DCL Calanques
6th Villefranche DIY Monaco and Eze, DCL Casino
7th At Sea Try and get Brunch when on board

I think I must have did a typo. The brunch I have booked is on Tuesday 7th August (the last sea day)


Lynn we have palo dinner on the Rome day too, (although ours is early)

I so pleased we all got more or less what we wanted. Can't believe we are at 90 days.

Now I want time to go fast

We tried at 3 am for Village of Cefalu and Marionette show but couldn't
get it either. So we are also booked for Village of Cefalu. My dad's family is originally from Cefalu so we really wanted to visit here,too. Who knows ,maybe we're related somewhere down the line.

We booked:

Palermo- Village of Cefalu
Naples- Pompeii,Sorrento, and Capri
Olbia- La Cinta
Civitavecchia- Ultimate Rome
La Spezia- Florence and Michelangelo
Palo- Aug 4 for dinner at 8:30

Marseille- Palace of the Popes and Les Baux
Villefranche- Monaco,Monte carlo, and Eze

I'm going to keep checking for the Cefalu and Marionette show. Maybe they'll be cancellations .

I got everything I wanted. My computer is super slow. It took 15 minutes for me to get the first reservations. Here is my schedule:

This is the first time of cruising that I've not booked any Spa treatments _yet .

I want to get a frangipani (sp?)scalp massage & blow dry - I had it done last year and it was really good but you can only book it at the Spa itself.

I am also hoping they will have some discounts and offers on port days - Sadly I cant have massages anymore because of my back, but I could fancy a facial

I also want to use the rainforest room alot - not sure if I'll by a pass or just go when i fancy - I think the pass could be expensive for 11 nights

What is the Rainforest Room?

I called DCL this morning. They have no record of my having paid for our second room. I have a copy of the confirmation from my travel agent - I was sitting with her while she did it - evidently DCL took the info and never applied the payment. Now I have to wait until tomorrow to see my TA and get this fixed. I better be able to book the excursions that I already booked for our other cabin (one cabin paid for with points and one cabin paid by Disney Credit Card - or should I say should have been paid for with Disney Credit Card)

Wish me luck tomorrow - I am just upset that I spent the time calling DCL to make sure that all was set up correctly - Castaway Club etc. and the person told me that yes, everything was fine, I shouldn't have any trouble booking my excursions - and what do you know, it wasn't all fine.

I called DCL this morning. They have no record of my having paid for our second room. The rainforest is awesome!! I think I will be doing an 11 day pass....that way I can go when ever I want!! I just love it!!

The rainforest room is in the spa. It has a 4 wonderful heated loungers and a number of different sauans, scented steamrooms, and showers. It is a wonderfulplace to relax.

Kidcoos2 - sending you for you for the rest of the day and Monday. I had the same problem. Seems like DCL won't (OK some of them) wouldn't work with me when they found out my TA booked with me) if I hadn't gotten mad and called back 8 times yup 8 times alone yesterday I would have been like you probably. I finally told the person that I wasn't getting off the line until I got an answer (DD says I was being a little pushy) My problem was that in my cabin #2 I had a non Castaway Cay member in there - 2 agents told me I couldn't book for her but I kept hearing reading something that I might be able too hence the calling back. Then the 2nd to the last call the agent told me I couldn't book because my TA had booked this - that blew my gasket was I ever! Finally at 4:45 PST - I got a hold of a very nice lady that went and hunted down the answers I wanted - so I feel for you - I would have been PO'd. I hope you've had a chance to calm down and hope that your disappointed doesn't last long - my DD's last words to me before she went to bed were this: Don't worry - DCL probably has some openings saved for the 75 day mark people and for onboard.

I believe this to be true and my experience has been that if enough interest is mentioned - that a 2nd tour opens up. I've been pretty lucky in all my sailings- (12 with this one) and I always seem to be able to get on a 'full' excursion and even on a couple of occasions when I thought I wanted it - it turned out for the best - either people got sick on it or one other one had 'modifications' made to it so I ended up seeing what I wanted. Remember - where there's a will - there's a way.

Luara thank you, its caused by high blood pressure, Doctor told me off on Thursday, said take a rest, It bangs like a migraine, before this year I only had had two!

That does sound awesome - adults only? My 16 year old daughter would love it!
Do the prices from 2006 still sound right? $8 as an add on or $15 per day?

I think the prices are about right.

Sadly for your DD its for over 18's as it is in the adult only spa.

Yes- No appointments are needed.

On port days its very quiet. Last year on my western cruise I spent 2 hours in there by myself - However I hope I was by myself as I was alone when I went to sleep, and alone when I woke up . I just hope I wasn't catching flies lol
